Does your compass and turn by turn navigation still work? When I was having that problem (not sure what fixed it), none of that worked.

No problem sir thank you. No my compass and nav not working which is odd. It worked fine yesterday then I had to reboot and no go. I hope it is something easy I really don't want to reflash but if no other choice I will. Thanks again

Just after you flash or also at least a couple of hours afterwards? Android does a lot in the background for quite some time after a new flash.

Weird my location services at the bottom shows a "@string/location_access_tittle" with the on off switch. and it took like 3 times in google maps reopening to get it to work.

First let me say this Rom is awesome!!! I am however still having the auto rotate issue, I tried the tip and I have both set to auto but can't get it to rotate. I tried resetting and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I was having the auto-rotate issue as well. I decided to flash my phone again. After doing the initial setup of the phone, the auto-rotate was functioning correctly. I updated Apex launcher to 2.0 and it was still working. I then changed other preferences and it stopped working. I tried to re-launch Apex launcher and it would not work. I then went ahead and did a reboot. It started working after that. Both auto-rotate options are checked in the normal phone settings under display as well as Apex launcher. Since late last night, my auto-rotate has been running fine.

When I did the initial setup after flashing this ROM. I went ahead went to settings and turned it on manually. Google maps seems to be working for me. I haven't tried any nav.

Anyone else get crazy wakelocks from alarm manager? I think it may be cpusleeper, but I'm not sure.

My phone was getting hot when using it for long stretches on hspa+, but I think that's pretty standard. It wasn't fry an egg hot, just hotter than on wifi.

On an unrelated note, anyone working on a custom kernel? Is it possible without source?

This gets rid of the "no sw buttons" mod. If you reflash the SW buttons mod, your ability to auto rotate breaks. Looks like they're mutually exclusive for now.

 

*Edit: just to be clear, I didn't actually test this without the "no sw button" mod. I saw I had buttons and immediately rebooted and reflashed the button mod. Sorry!

If by reset you mean by rebooting my phone; I have not.

It was in semi-working condition before flashing the zip but now it's not working at all. Hopefully BDH comes up with another zip soon.
