whenever I hold the power button it reboots but it starts right from boot animation.

it doesn't show the Power Menu

All you have to do is press and hold for 1 second then let go.

BigDaddyHicks, any idea if this will work on gsm? I'm asking you because your rom works great on att and in trying to figure out if there's anything different between this and rage M.

Love my RAZR M

If you flashed the theme for 4.1.1, it will cause this.  You need to DL and flash the theme for 4.1.2, it should be in the same thread.

Downloaded and flashed update (dirty style, though I don't condone this practice ;)), debugging issue is fixed.  Auto-rotation seems good.  I've run it through the procedures that would get auto rotate to stop previously.  Awesome work Tim and TeamRage and MHouse.

All, please do NOT do anything with this thread until some things get sorted out. I will be PM'ing the appropriate people to get this resolved.

Thank you.

EDIT: All fixed in a reasonable and considerate manor. Carry on and enjoy the ROM everyone.

I too received a black and white picture.  Asked the sender to send another one and it came through in color.

Group messaging does not seem to work with the stock messenger.  Works fine with Handcent.  Can you make the shortcuts on the lockscreen changeable?

I got flash happy last night and tried out CM 10.1 first before flashing DeadRage and ended up with the "0" folder.  This is the only thing I hate about going back and forth between 4.2 and 4.1.  I will have to RSD stock because that "0" folder will drive me crazy like it did with my Gnex.

Other then that, this ROM is freaking awesome!  Battery life is outstanding and coming from vzw Gnex you can imagine how excited this makes me!

regarding the instructions, when you say wipe everything, I presume you mean just system/cache/dalvik - but did you also mean the sdcard (storage)?  I doubt you meant the mnt/external - but you know how some readers are....

also, has the issue with the FC on launcher settings been resolved - or will that be a later update?

thanks!

That will be in a later update. I will change the op to be more specific. What I mean is (cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, system)

v1.2a

Removed custom boot animation due to possible infringment

Thanks I just flashed this. Some may say the boot animation is "too flashy" but I friggin love it! Brought a huge smile to my face after anotherwise s&^ty few days. Ill keep you informed on how the rom goes.

Edit: In 1993 (I was 10) my family went on vacation we were in Seattle durning a Greatful Dead Concert my dad had to explain what a deadhead was. The next day ontop of the space needle the day after a Greatful Dead concert in the park below the aftermath was a unique sight.

Aww man so if I flash with the latest, no deadheads?!?

Something I noticed last night after a couple of hours stressing about possibly bricking my phone (my fault), I flashed this ROM. Google play downloaded an update for Apex launcher and it looked like the Apex settings GUI was still up behind all of the icons. I relaunch Apex launcher and everything looked good. I wanted to look at the wallpapers available and the wallpaper that was installed with this ROM is gone from the selection screen. Although it is still set as my wallpaper. There's only one wallpaper available to select and it's not the one that is installed with the ROM. Where is the wallpaper stored?

Also, I don't know if I'm just seeing things, but it seems like sending text messages takes a bit longer. After I hit send, the status still says sending for maybe like a second or two.

Ha, that is true.  You are welcome to include a boot ani of your own. just place it in data/local.

That I think is an issue with Apex.

Also, nothing I have done should have affected MMS or SMS.  Anyone else with the issue?

And just as a note, just because the boot ani is gone does not mean that we can't still enjoy the dead!

Regards,

I will keep that original boot animation of yours and put it in. As I said with the messages, it's probably just me taking extra notice of it. Occasionally with the stock 4.1.2 I would get the sending message for text messages or google talk messages and it would never go away even though the message was sent.

UPDATE LINK IS LIVE!!!!

I have to try this out! Looks awesome. :D Still new to the unlocked processes. Since I'm on the latest Orion CM10.1, probably best to fastboot back to stock 4.1.2 (Right?) Can I use RSD Lite and the fastboot files already on my pc?

Awesome work!

Weird, well I will do some testing and see if I can get it to happen.  Thanks for the heads up.

That should work just fine.  I find Matt's utility to be the easiest but it is user preference.  I have included the 4.1.2 boot.img and radio in this ROM so it may be fine without doing that, however, I always recommend a full wipe and rsd back to stock is about as full of a wipe that you can get.  Good luck and hope you enjoy the ROM.

Thanks. There is a custom kernal in the latest Orion CM10.1 built, that is my biggest concern.

If this built has the boot.img in it it should flash over the cm10.1 image and you should be fine
