There is no USB connection. Plug up phone via USB and get no connection. Anyone else with this problem?

Which governer and i/o scheduler seems to be the best for this?

I've got nothing on the USB issue. Deadline/interactiveX are working well for me right now. Hotplug was causing problems.

So when you plug in your USB it charges and you can view files on internal and external? When I plug it in, I get NOTHING. Not charging or any files to look at. But on CM10 no problems. I know this is not an Orion issue, I had this issue on CM10.1 before Orion came out.

I believe hotplug and hotplugx were causing issues on a few different devices. Mainly some deep sleep issues and so forth. Probably a scaling issue that marxman3 had mentioned. Interactive or interactivex would be my governor of choice also. I prefer sio scheduler but to each is own. Deadline is probably the most reliable. nprevette420, have you tried switching between connection modes to see if PC recognizes any of them?

I've had issues with Lionheart, SavagedZen and Hotplug. I'm probably going to pull out hotplug and try to tweak the other two to keep a conservative option in there. Probably won't have time for a few days - the whole having to work to pay bills thing is a real downer......Too bad we don't live in an open source culture!

I hear ya there. There is a decent modified conservative governor that I run on my N10. Its called ktoonservative or something to that nature without looking lol. I haven't messed with governors since the OG Droid days so Im a little out of the loop.

Hey guys any of you want to try my kernel on this? I'm very sorry and I don't mean to advertise, I'm legitimately curious whether this will work or not.

Located in RAZR HD ROM section.

My rationalization is this:

Both phones have Qcom 8960.
Both built on same repo
Both use same kernel from what I can tell.

So it seems... obvious? That it should work Lol but I wanna make sure.

Sorry and thank you.

The risk is bricking your phone. The benefit is a fantastic kernel. I tried it and I'll just say an update to the ROM may be out soon and it will involve a new kernel.

Great work bytecode!

If it smooths out the rom a little it will make this VERY tempting :D

Kernel doesn't fix anything. Just improves on what's there, no camera fix.

For those who did flash the kernel, did it help with the lag on cm10.1? If so, was it slightly improved, or greatly?
