I hit a small hiccup and taking the wise advice from a previous post it's time to enjoy the flowers (sweet leaf for you Sabbath fans) and couch lock isn't conducive to messing with android......In the interim here is something for my fellow crackflashers to hold them over:

5/30

It's the 5/30 and 5/31 nightly with the corresponding Vanquish kernel. Happy Flashing.

Excellent (Mr. Burns voice). More crack!!! (My voice)

Just a few theme related things to clean up, but with my hatred of theming and the fact Chara is about to beat Crosby like a red headed step child (if Crosby stops being a wuss and drops his gloves and takes off his sissy shield) it may not be finished tonight.......

I forgot to mention that I kept Bytecode's OC so the default is set to 1.89 Ghz.......So when the phone is burning your hand and sucking battery you'll know why......It takes me back to the OG droid days......

You can use no frills cpu to max it at 1.5 (or whatever) if you are a fan of battery life........

Not all of us are wusses Bytecode!  :p You the man!

Vote for bytecode in the phone give away as an easy, free way to say thanks to a Dev doing genius work on a phone he doesn't have:

Hmmm, no theming in the Latin ime stuff + I've not had a problem with this one in 3 days. Should be set.

Curious how long your first reboot took. I am going on about 10 minutes, from reading the OP, looks like 5.

I'm thinking I did something wrong, using twrp wiped data twice(along with cache and dalvik), mounted system, installed rom, installed gaps, selected reboot.

Welcome any suggestions. The first time i did this i did not mount the system, thought I did right the 2nd time around clearly I didn't.

Anyway, thanks for any feedback.

10 minutes is too long. A minute or two max. Sometimes cache unmounts, make sure that everything you can mount is checked. Also might make sense to download it again to make sure you got a good one.

Is this an issue? I don't use WiFi ever thanks to the grandfathered unlimited data and my desire to get whatever I can from Verizon for the ridiculous amount I pay for 4 phones each month......

Today or tomorrow I'll probably start working on the next update, just need to know if there's a major issue to fix.

WiFi didn't turn on for me..... I'd guess (hope) the daily I used has a glitch. I'll get on it soon.

Reboot recovery after wiping, and mount system then.  You can check "mount system" prior to rebooting, but apparently it doesn't actually mount unless you reboot recovery.

I've always had had issues with just wiping and then installing the ROM immediately. Try what RikRong suggested. After wiping; reboot into recovery again, then mount and install the ROM.

marxman, I have the old 5.1 build installed. If someone else could confirm these things, please chime in. I did notice that updating google maps had an issue. Also, I have my contacts synched with gmail. I tried to add a new contact and I got an error and it would close down the contacts app. However, the new contact is saved correctly. Thanks again for your work.
