The kernel does make a noticeable difference in the lag but it's still there and the static is a bug it happens to everybody

If it's anything like blur, cpusleeper is causing your problems on startup. Could be something similar on startup causing your issues. Also, you need to clear "Motion Detection.apk", but that fix is only temporary.

I'm not using CPU Sleeper, but I think I found my problem. I need to read install directions correctly.

 

Just to make 100% sure, we still need to flash the nightly, prior to Orion? I wasn't quite sure because you said something in the 2nd post about reverting back to old way of flashing ROMs. ;)

I am using cpu sleeper and having no issues with it. No issues with rotation either, it works perfect. Only thing is that this version goes through battery much faster than older builds. Any way to fix that?

Marx was saying he was having problems with the vanquish kernel and took it out so If I flashed the kernel would it cause problems?

can anyone confirm if wifi tether works on this ROM? i need a 10.1 rom with working camera gps and wifi tether those are the main things i use the most, if anyone can confirm or let me know what 10.1 roms do have working wifi tether i would greatly appreciate it thanks!

I screwed up somehow because phone getting to hot battery drains to fast and I backed up my stock ROM but when I try to restore it.. It fails. I try using droid utility. 1.20 the utility locks up ... Any thoughts??

I screwed up somehow because phone getting to hot battery drains to fast and I backed up my stock ROM but when I try to restore it.. It fails. I try using droid utility. 1.20 the utility locks up ... Any thoughts??

Not this again...Start a new thread.  This is your third (?) phone, I think. The more you do this, the more I doubt that you are actually having a problem.

Any one else getting this error with shazam? On this ROM or other CM10.1 ROMs.

Haven't tried it yet.  I'll check it in a little bit.

 

edit:  I also get the same with Shazam or GoogleSound Search.

Be patient with the utility. As it runs through the restore option, it gets about midway through and it seems to hang for a bit, but it is still running.

Yeah unless it freezes for an hour+ or gives an error it's ops normal.

Updated Rom to version 4 (Daily Driver status) and Gapps to version 2. Hope you like dark, inverted roms because I do. Happy flashing.
