While the asphalt work was going on, there was a steady stream of reddi-mix trucks delivering for the the first pours on the floor slab. The loading dock area shows how the hog wire mats are positioned prior to the pour.

Northwest walls getting a tan primer or seal coat, while the northeast corner gets a green coat, followed by loading the scaffolds with stone and the start of the veneer.

Bristol Virginia Utility (BVU) here today...installed a taller metal power pole across the highway and raised the existing power lines to the top. I think in order to provide vertical clearance for the future traffic signal supports.

The HVAC system is all York equipment (made in the USA!). There are 2 large units that appear to contain the compressors and these 2 will be lifted to the roof with a helicopter next Tuesday. It looks to me like there are 7 other pieces (supply air handlers?) and another 8 pieces that might be for return air.

Stormwater piping moving on up the side of the road, water supply piping coming in from the highway, more work on the short wall and drilling for more shots on the Zaxby pad site.
Each one of those units is its own contained system. The specs on the one you took a picture is a 320Mbh or 320k Btu/hr and a 17.5 ton ac a stand residential size is 70kbtu heat and 3ton ac.
Each unit pulls outside air and conditions it then forces it inside. (Comply with codes and provide fresh O² for large people loads). With the size of that building and all the heat sources (lights, people, servers/computers) I'm not surprised to see close to a dozen commercial HVAC systems.
Each unit will be lifted and placed on a "roof curb" that marrys the unit on the outside, to the ductwork on the inside. I'm curious to see what style of ducting they use inside.
What's getting more popular now is a duct sock. Literally a canvas cloth with precise holes cut along its length. When not in use it hangs flat, inflates with pressure. But they could easily go metal duct for aesthetic reasons.
The unit with two compressors is a two stage ac. The two condenser fans will cycle independent of each other to keep the high side pressures within a specific range. Thus allowing the AC to operate in very low ambient temperature. Standard residential units aren't made to function lower than 55°

Thanks again...do these units recirculate from inside the building and/or would there have to be a separate exhaust system if they don't?

Much of the activity since the previous posts were repetitive, inside the building or otherwise uninteresting to me, and probably to you.
The videographer for the City was on site last week and I watched as he flew his drone (4 prop copter) over head and took other ground level videos. (He's totally edited out any sight of my dirty Buick!)
Something I'll be watching in the near future is the creation of the project name-sake..."The Falls".
At one time the intention was to locate them near the corner of the remaining hilltop at the entrance of Cabelas Blvd off Lee highway. The pic below kinda shows the construction ramp from the right that I suspected would be access to the area to build The Falls.
More recently it seems that they are preserving the wall of rock where a former quarry was located next to Lee highway (pic below). Rocks at the sides of this quarry had to be removed in order to widen Lee highway to 4 lanes plus a center left turn lane.
Anyway, the City has posted an Update to YouTube and it includes a Memorial at the end for Josey Baker, one of the owners of the primary contractor for site development who was killed in an accident at home on the 4th of July.
