Just like the wall crew using a Stihl cut-off saw on the fabric between layers of fill, they do a job on black iron water pipe, too.

The Cabela's job trailer, well...half of it arrived. It's a double wide! (Second half later today.)

Using the tooth on the back of a dozer to rip the rocks and the blades to lower the current approach road to the Cabela's pad and they've begun to cut in the main road from Lee Highway.

Time for the very last layer today on the Cabela's pad. The material is called '2180', a screen size designation, and it's being hauled from a local quarry by a series of trucks from several local haulers.

There is a D6 Cat with a 'spreader box' attachment on the front and the trucks back up to it and as the bed is raised, the D6 moves the material and the truck ahead. When a windrow is full length, the Grader and Roller make their final passes.

It's been awhile since I stopped in the breakdown lane...the wall has progressed past the point of re-build.

A crew started laying out stakes for the Cabela's building footings today but nothing very photogenic, yet.

Hammering boulders on the left, pulling fill down the hill and drilling for the next shot on top.

The first load of steel re-bar delivered to the laydown area. After a couple days of tying these pieces into various shapes they'll be headed onto the pad.

After about a week of the penetrations made into the pad surface, re-bar crew getting pieces wired together and into position, naturally the day to roll the ready-mix trucks turned out to be wet and miserable. I'm guessing thirty loads of concrete through the day.

Some interesting pre-fab scaffolding and planks...the upper pieces have elec drives and I'm guessing they are lifts to either raise the blocks or to elevate the plank decks as the walls go up.

After two days drilling, today's shot preps trench work for completion of the large diameter (30"?) corrugated storm drain line that will be fed from all the drain inlets in the Cabela's parking area and from future downspouts from the building itself. The large line has already been installed leading to the two Detention Ponds on the south-east end of the project.

From a distance it looked like 3 truckloads of bean bags but closer up it turned out these were 'Special Mix' QuikCrete mortar bags to be mixed up in that hopper device next to the PortaJohn.

Drill busy putting holes into the bottom of the pit where the last section of large corrugated storm drains was left several months ago, this series of charges lead toward the end of the shot yesterday.
