Aww I understand ;)

What stops you is that all the CM nightlies before 4/22 were built for the 3.0.31 kernel and all of them after were built for 3.0.8 kernel.

ahh i guess i don't understand how kexec works then. I thought 3.0.31 had been flashed "over" 3.0.8 so I was expecting codekernel to just be able to replace that.

**edit

Just read through the thread for this on the RAZR. makes sense to me now :)

I'm from the internet and so can you!

This rocks. It is snappier than the stock cm10. I was having lag issues. Probably just from never settling well with installing a new update everyday. Can't wait for the oc.

Wow. I've spent a while figuring this out (or maybe finding this thread). Flashed Bytecodes Kernel to my bionic on safestrap following nightly and Gapps flash and voila... I can use the sweet 10.1 nightlies again. Thank you! 4g is also not working for me. Tried several recs above - no luck. I wonder if it's the ROM or the Kernel. Or my general cluelessness. Thank you!!!

I haven't put in the CODE KERNEL and i still didn't have 4G on a slot i wiped and put in Liquid 4/26 backup I had with working 4g prior. So i deleted the rom slot and did it all over fresh install with gapps and no kernel and i had 4G. I'm not sure whats up but it could be the kernel. I'm holding off for a few builds and will try again on a new build and see if i see anything different.

This is just too much crackflashing I need a break for a day or 2 lol

Yep correct.

I would guess that since both of you are having the problem and it's new on this nightly there are either some new commits to merge in or it's only this nightly.

Handled in PM. In the future please only bring your questions to my attention once, it's annoying and redundant to get a PM as well as a post in my thread.

A quick aside. I didn't see this in the changelogs. Fairly major change for us and left many of us hanging. Is (was) there a way for us to know that prior to installing? Feel like a moron - kept wasting time trying to get CM 10.1 nightlies working with the  3.0.3.1 kernel.

R5 kernel does not work with 4/29 nightly either.

Wondering if it's my phone or the combo of R5 Kernel and 4/29 ROM. I am one of those that never got the bump to 1200 Hz with ICS. The Kernel is loading but I am getting rebooting before the OS even finishes booting. It gets past the "updating android" step, but crashes right after.

I'm willing to try on the 4/30 ROM, but am wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and has been successful with troubleshooting.

Just having fun with Android!

Anybody else got the problem who also never got their bump to 1200Mhz?

I'm not familiar with the Bionic in that aspect, don't own it.

I did not get the bump either and it did not load for me. It just hung after the kexec buzz with a black screen and the hardware keys lit. This was R5 kernel on 4/29 build.

Did the previous kernels work?
