Is there a cure for MMS failures too? I edited the logs using ES file explorer and added the lines in the OP but I'm still getting frequent crashes and message delivery failures

Use a recent nightly. I've had zero problems with calls and MMS with the nightlies.

Wipe. Dirty flashing causes this. Particularly failing to wipe system.

I clean flash everything. Every time I flash I wipe all 4 (cache, dalvik, system, data) and I wipe cache and dalvik after flashing. I know what I'm doing to flash this stuff.
Latest nightlies have broken WiFi.

I've been running 10.1 all day on WiFi with no problems(5/9 version).
Same. But 5/13

Hi guys,
I have data drops on any rom that I run outside of stock. Is anyone else experiencing this? Just curious. I've been told to try a new sim card. Does this sound feasible?
Thanks.

This happens a lot in lower signal strength areas. SIM probably won't fix it tbh unless there's something wrong with the contacts on it

Question. When you fire up your phone. Do you get a signal right away or does it take awhile?
Thanks.

I seem to be in the minority then. I'm the only person I know having this issue. Guess it's not very widespread then huh? Sim sounded like a long shot I agree.

First boot after rom install/update takes about 15-30 sec. Normal boots are usually sub 10

Hi All,
I've seen some discussion on this board about the GPS not locking after ROM installed. Hoping to get some advise.
I have an XT926 running AXI0M. I have tried and tried to get it to lock in on the GPS and have had no luck.
Few situations i've tried....
1. Format internal sd, install ROM/gapps, & restore from Titanium backup (apps and data)
2. Format internal sd. Install ROM/gapps, & restore from Google Play backup
3. Format internal sd. Install ROM/gapps, & not do a restore but install a fresh Maps from Google Play
I'm using AXI0M-4.2.2-21MAY2013-ODEX-xt926 & gapps-jb-20130301-signed.
I've also tried GPS Fix and GPS Status & Toolbox. Neither were able to lock on to my GPS location.
Any thoughts on what to try next?
Thanks for any assistance.
You need to install a stock based rom, get a GPS lock, wipe normally, and then fresh install a 4.2.2 rom. Download maps from the market (doesn't have to be maps but that's what I like to do) and get a lock to check GPS.

Thanks! Thoughts where I can get an xt926 stock based rom that installs by zip for TWRP?

The stock ROM only needs to be first. I've flashed between several ROMs the past few days, all AOSP based, and I lock on prior to flashing. I have been good with GPS on every new ROM I've flashed. Just make sure you lock on FIRST. If you've never done it with a stock ROM, then you need to restore one. If you never backed one up, then that's an issue. You should always have a stocker backed up, just in case. Aftermarket ROMs can do some bad things sometimes.

I did some searching when I was first advised to get a stock rom and couldnt find one. Is there a thread on here with a link? Will it be a zip installation that I can do in TWRP?
Thanks.
