I have constant issues with the my razr maxx hd rebooting after hitting the sleep button. It doesn't happen every time but every once in a while

i have strange problem never had it before on any other ROM, but all the Roms was 4.1.2

 

i downloaded Carbon, set it up, but my data is not working, it took me so long to find the APN settings, and i set it up as i always did on all the other ROMs, but still no data, i have not try any other 4.2.2 Roms so i am not sure if it is the ROM thing or all 4.2.2 ROMS

 

P.S i am using xt926 (Verizon one) overseas not in USA, and it was and still working perfectly with all the 4.1 ROMS

Your APN information should be getting automatically pulled with the information on your SIM. I would try CM or another generic 4.2.2 ROM just to test to see if that's the issue (I know CM works overseas because there are many builds for the euro version of the phone). Manually forcing APN information can cause issues that persist through flashes so I would advise not screwing around with it.

Very interesting issue I'm having. I turned off LTE from the pull down menu, but when I turned it back on, I no longer had LTE. It doesn't work at all now, only 3g and wifi. I rebooted the phone, cleared cashe, nothing. Any ideas?

i tried codex, still no data, i am having signal but no data so bad, i do not know what is wrong with 4.2.2, i nevered had an issue on 4.1 roms like fuzion or wWidow, ... etc i am sure that there is a fix for that somewhere

Ran across a new bug this morning that may be related to whatever causes the microphone to show as in-use (stopping Shazam and other apps from access it it).   When using speaker phone, the phone is apparently using the handset mic, rather than the more sensitive and optimized rear speaker mic. Can we get that on the list(s) of issues to be addressed?

it is exactly same my problem, i am really confused, even when i dial special code like ##7764726 which we used before to fix the SMS delivery report issue, the phone does not recognize it as a code, it is trying to dial it !!!!! tooooo strange

 

the only way to access the APN setting is to download an app called Tweakker it is free, it will get you to APN settings, try to enter it manually and see what will happen, i entered the APN settings which i normally using but still no DATA, honestly i start to fed up specially that it seems no one having an idea of how to fix it, and honestly i am newbie and run out of ideas already.

 

so if you manage to fix it please update me, i will do the same in case i get any sucess

Saw this the speaker mic issue this morning as well. Haven't been home yet to add it to the op. Not going to do it on the phone bc the color formatting goes nuts.

The problem lies in that a very small percentage of xt926 users use their phones outside the US. I would check with the xt925 users to be honest as its the same hardware for the most part.

Thank you, i just highlighted the issue in case any developer would like to know about this bug in his ROM in order to get fully functioned ROM, the phone should be fully working with international SIM outside of US, so anyone running any of these ROMs will travel out of USA will not be able to use his phone with different SIM, i know it might be small percentage as you said, but still it worth mention specially for those developers who seek perfection, thanks

The lte toggle doesn't work properly yet because it doesn't switch between the right radio modes. When u toggle it off it switches to CDMA/EVdo (3g) and when u toggle it on it switches to lte/cdma which doesn't actually do 4g. What u want is lte/CDMA/evdo for 4g. U can manually choose this setting under settings, mobile networks.

Codex will work on the XT926?

Theoretically these ROMs could be ported to any of the RAZR qcomm family correct. I know that some already are...but.

GPS failing to lock is not a new issue. It has to do with kernel change and dirty flashing. It's well documented.

On the latest nightly, Wifi is broked flashed a few times with different kernels, same story. Will attempt to connect, and keeps retrying. Tested 2 APs and reset both.
