You can take the zip, open it, go under system/apps delete what you don't want, also under vendor/apps, do the same. Then install.

Didnt know that, thanks for the info. Will give it a go.

How hard would it be to make, or is there any interest in making a stripped, clean, debloated "stock" version of JB? I had problems with the OTA making my phone laggy. Ive rooted and installed blurry and have similar issues, phone is just not very responsive.

Blurry is pretty much debloated. All vendor apps are removed and most bloat from system/app is removed as well. I doubt its the bloat apps that are making your phone laggy. Im not sure what exactly it could be though...

i have the exact same issue, blurry runs beautifully for a few hours then things are getting laggy... then open chrome and perma-stunned gg.

did you flash any of the blurry zips? try running it vanilla for a bit and see if the same thing happens

Also, make sure you have the correct drivers installed. Just in case. I couldnt get mine to work until I installed the drivers that came on the phone itself. I tried downloading all sorts of drivers for Motorola phones...

I tried this and got a "Status 6" error. Is there some trick to re- zipping it?

Hmmm, never had to resigned it anytime I did it. Not sure, I only take out small stuff like gmail and chrome. Never had that problem. I've even inserted stuff like there 4.2 keyboard and stock browser. Not sure, sorry. Do you maybe have a bad download to begin with?

Isnt a status 6 error related to updater-script? Thats what Ive always seen anyways.

I would try your download again. The updater-script should be fine.

Not really sure what it was, other than I tried to do the same thing under linux (same rom file) and it worked fine.  I guess I will just avoid using windows.  Thanks for the help.

For running this in the stock slot, what about booting this up, uninstalling safe strap, reboot and reinstall safe strap to think this is the stock?
