When I flashed dead rage, elemental x, and energy, I mounted everything, wiped chache, dalvik cache, factory reset, system twice, rebooted recovery, flashed ROM, dead rage and elemental x booted up, energy kept saying failed to flash, I was thinking what would happen if I wiped everything except keep system and try to flash energy? Since it was originally for safe strap? I have never used safe strap before, I have 2.3.2.3 twrp

I Dont know ... just thinking outloud

Honestly, I never wipe system, but that's just a personal preference.  The ROM updater scripts will wipe everything that is needed (just my opinion, I would still recommend wiping system).  Energy will still fail, regardless, because it doesn't have the updated script to work with a custom recovery.

Also, you should flash TWRP 2.5.  It has some improvements over 2.3.
