okay this sounds like an infuriating problem im having on my custom stock build..

I have init.d script loading the modules, setting gov to peg(even tried interactive to rule out screen state from governor itself)and setting cpu freq table to OC values. . everything sets correct on load, awesome. but I am getting my cpu max freq and governor changed on screen off and can't figure out the guilty app or script. Im not using your battery script or any conflicting profiles as far as I can tell...

any thoughts? maybe I logcat or dmsg something specific? my only lead is possibly smart actions secretly changing things even while disabled

I have this on Carbon and a few other 4.2.2 roms too. I can't OC anyway but was trying my min freq at 600 and when the the screen goes off it reverts to 300 again. Sometimes not immediately so I wonder if it's related to dropping into deep sleep but haven't had time to look further.

Dont know if this helps at all, but the app No Frills CPU Control seems to let it stick.

My apologies if this is already included within the rom. I know one of these do, cant remeber if blurry or Flying jelly.

Even if included, might wanna try the seperate app anyway, it may help? idk. just my noob 2 cents.

im actually just on stock deodex and my moto bloat suspicion was close but not quite. Mot PowerHAL (hardware abstraction layer) is likely a low level device that we have no direct control over on stock builds. the interesting but perhaps sloppy implementation by moto caused cpumax to be set to min then the gov to be switched to performance when the screen turns off. for us OCers, you would need to set a profile to counter this upon display on lol

note it has been pwned and revealed because I chmoded the $#!+ out of that file THEN chowned it root. the consequences of which ill keep you posted with haha

Just installed 2.4 and looking to update, however I have a peer certificate error message...Any ideas?

Rebooted several times as well and let it settle in.

I have never heard of someone having this error on our ROM before. When did it happen and what were you doing on it?

Additionally, the site will slowly be getting better over time as I work on it in my free time when Im not working on this ROM or homework from school. Any donations that are made using the donate button at the top will be split between eye__dea and myself since we are the only two working on this ROM. Donations dont just give us money but keep the server for the ROM running and if possible, give us a few dollars to put toward getting another device and making this ROM for the supposed device as well... maybe Ive said too much... lol

I only see the message when I go into the update section, sometimes I click "available update" the message follows or as soon as I click into the section the message appears. Doesn't seem to effect anything else nor does the message come up anywhere else, only in that one spot. So I'm stuck on 2.4 for OTA.

I see. Well, there are some problems we just cant fix. Something may have became corrupt for some reason and OTA Updater doesnt want to let you download the updates. In case something like this happen we provide manually updates that can be flashed through SafeStrap. Download the patches from

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

and flash them in sequential order and you should be able to update to 2.5.1.

Thanks, I've used the ROM previously and the OTA updater did not work but there was a different error message. I will go the manual route. Great ROM!

No problem. Always happy to help when I have the time, which is usually late at night and the early morning like now. If you have any other problems let us know.

Dont worry guys, we didnt forget about you. There will be an update coming in the next week or two. We've just been busy with personal lives, the Razr release, and some other things...

The next version will be offered as an update through OTA Updater (For those who don't mind one more update), and as a full rom release (For those who like 100% clean installs, and for users who havent installed Blurry 2.4 previously)

When the time comes, I will ask in this thread for beta testers for both the OTA, and the full rom.

Few bug report and functionality suggestion :D

I've seen multiple occasions where the top notification bar goes empty except the signal bar with no signal on them.

All the icons come back when I drag down the notification window (you know the screen that comes from swiping down from the very top of screen) and close it.

I've also seen a couple hung up where it doesn't respond to any buttons, not sure what caused this..

For minor suggestion, it would be great if the rom comes with some basic foreign langue fonts, I figured there were no Korean fonts with this rom, I downloaded few fonts but I still see some broken or missing Korean characters here and there, not a big deal but would be great to see if this can get fixed!

Well in general I love the rom and I appreciate all your works and supports! thanks guys!

Count me in for a full ROM. I still have a kernel and some eggs to crack before getting ProjectX updated.
