Do I need anything else besides safestrap 3.1.1?
It installs fine, saying "Setting symlinks and permissions" as last message and display "successful", but when I reboot, it just hangs up on black screen..

Tried downloading the rom again, tried reinstall safestrap, didn't help so far.

How big of a slot did you use? I use this in a 2Gb slot3 but tried stuffing it in a 1Gb and it did that. Although that was a restored backup so it was bigger than fresh but I'd try remaking a 2Gb and see what happens.

Hmm weird. Dumb question but you did flash 2.4 first and then upgrade right? They didn't release a full 251 that I know of instead 2.4 to 2.4.1 to 2.5.1 through upgrades.

That's weird. I did do manual upgrades but if that didn't work that's strange. Did you try deleting the slot and recreating it yet? If not I would try that too. Were you saying previously that you were functional on 2.4 and it broke on the upgrades? Or you never ran it and this was initial install?

Are you just trying Slot 3 to install this or have you tried other Slots? If Slot 3 is your only choice then best to boot into SS and while on Slot 3 do a format and data wipe. Then switch over to slot 2 or 1, which ever one is already setup. After you have activated in a different Slot delete Slot 3 and recreate it. Install ver 2.4 of this ROM and glide your way through the OTA updater. Also noticed that some of these updates will want to try to boot into Stock Recovery for some strange reason. Best to download them and install them manually through SS, They will be located on the sdcard in the OTA directory.

I tried on different slots, deleting and recreating also, but none of them worked.

Well since I cannot even get to boot with 2.4, it shouldn't be OTA updater problem :(

I think we got it then. One of the forums shows "must be on 4.1.2"

Indeed. Because its based on Blur you have to be on 98.72.22 firmware for this to boot.

Wanted to give this a shot and just wanted some clarification. Do I just flash 2.4 and go through OTA updater till I get to 2.5.1 or can I just manually flash each update one after the other?

Yay, now it's working :)

Don't really have much problems besides the rom does not support to display Korean fonts by default, things look fantastic.

You can swipe to the right 2 pages and there you can change the frequencies and millivolts yourself, but they won't stick after a screen lock unless you delete my special governor script. Which is written to save massive standby battery life.

okay this sounds like an infuriating problem im having on my custom stock build..

I have init.d script loading the modules, setting gov to peg(even tried interactive to rule out screen state from governor itself)and setting cpu freq table to OC values. . everything sets correct on load, awesome. but I am getting my cpu max freq and governor changed on screen off and can't figure out the guilty app or script. Im not using your battery script or any conflicting profiles as far as I can tell...

any thoughts? maybe I logcat or dmsg something specific? my only lead is possibly smart actions secretly changing things even while disabled
