The tweakers app is still installed the icon is just hidden in the app drawer because it is embeaded in the settings menu. More then likely that icon got overlooked while theming the Settings. A quick fix would be just to slide the Settings app from the ROM into the system/app folder of the theme using a archive manager like 7 zip. No need to extract both theme and ROM on the PC for doing this. Sent from my XT875 using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2

I don't see 7zip in the play store (although I have it on my laptop).  Are you familiar with ZArchiver or AndroZip?  If I want to remove the theme, then I should slide the settings app back to the ROM?  This is new territory for me.  Thanks.

If at some point I want to uninstall the Edge theme, do I have to reflash Blurry?  I read on another forum you can use a nandroid back-up to restore settings, but when I made my nandroid, I'm not sure if voodoo rootkeeper was active and I don't want to lose root and go through that process again.  The app has been installed, I don't think I put the root protect feature on after losing root during the JB OTA.   Thanks!

I don't think you have to worry about root when your flashing ROMs on rom slots using safe strap.. You can certainly FDR your ROM slot.

Ramble on

I reset my factory data reset stock slot and it's currently not "rooted" according to titanium but I'm running slot 2 CM 10.1 so, yes, I'm rooted. I am not worried about stock slot, it's easy to get back I just forget how. And it's easy to flash HoB and then re-root, too :)

Not something Is do between a shower and black tie affair, of course. Then again, I've never (actually so very very seldom) had that scenario to worry about.

Only use Voodoo rootkeeper when taking Verizons OTA updates.  After you received the update and kept root, you should unprotect root again in Voodoo Rootkeepers app.  All custom ROMs should have Superuser installed within the /system.

I've HOB'd three times now and the utility is a life-saver.  I know I can get it all back if I have to, just don't want to go that route inadvertently uninstalling a theme.  I switched between themes on FJ, but didn't uninstall.  Feeling trigger shy moving files through an archive manager, not something I've done before and maybe it's easy as pie, and I'm worrying more than I need to.  Thanks for rambling and replying :)

Thanks for pointing out the distinction.  I honestly can't remember if I unprotected root it's been several months since Dan's exploit.  And, I'm pretty happy on the ROM side.

I don't know what files are in the edge theme but there are 2 flashable zips in /sdcard/BlurryMods for the stock and blurry themes.

if your worried about not liking the theme...the best way to remove it is to make a backup before flashing the theme...to go back just wipe everything and restore the backup...it will be like you never flashed the theme

I quite like the theme (have it my FJ ROM slot, too), just worried if I can't figure out how to move the settings app file (as nobe suggested above) to access Tweakerz, I may need to uninstall it while I get on the learning curve for adjusting CPU settings.

Not for nothing Beats is really just an eq enhancement. I have the DNA with beats and have done much research on it. Any good much player with an EQ like PowerAmp can give you the same effect with the right EQ settings.
