Just wondering if an update is coming in the near future?  It has been quiet other than people having problems loading the ROM.  One suggestion would be more themes and or having a bone stock theme (I know we have one as part of the ROM but keeps some of the stock Blurry).

Thanks!!

Themes take a long time, and I am only one person. I have planned on finishing the blurry theme and making it available in multiple colors, but I havent gotten around to starting a whole new theme. Not to bash another rom or themer, because they have done the work, but other roms are getting a lot of theme ports. Which are much easier to do then starting from scratch. If I got permission, Im sure I could port some other peoples themes to blurry rather easily. I just havent gotten around to asking anyone.

As for the default theme, most peoples complaints were for stock status bar icons. I reverted everything back to stock but two images. The lock screen circle, and the notification pulldown. I figured they are unobtrusive, dont take away or contradict the stock theme, and still represent the blurry rom with two small symbols.

Ive been taking it a little easier as of late with it being summer now and spending time with my girl and family. Ive also been doing a lot more looking into smali edits than themeing too if you couldnt tell by the volume rocker mod and expandable volume panel. Once I have some free time Ill start doing some more themeing and possibly get to some more unlocked features in smali. As of right now, we have completed the majority of what we set out to do, and you can tell by looking at all the features included in the OP. Naturally now that we have completed so many of our goals, things are going to slow down a bit. I have an almost completed inverted hangouts Ive been working on, Ive been looking into some init.d scripts, and I plan on inverting Google Music, as well as Google Now. Plus a few other features I have yet to start working on. I can tell you that one thing I do have done are a crap ton more options for battery icons in OGBatteryMod.

Things can be a bit overwhelming since its mainly just eye__dea and myself that work on this rom with some help from others every once in a while (Such as timmy10shoes for init.d scripts and a few other things)

Create a bigger data partition when you create a rom slot?

The OTA Update seems to be failing for me. It notices there is an update, but I click download and it pops up a confirmation then says there was a problem with the download. Any ideas?

*Notice*

I need some testers for 2.4.2 OTA. Due to some minor issues Im still working on, Inverted Google Now and Inverted Hangouts will not be included.

If you want to beta test the new OTA send me a PM.

Im hoping to have 2.4.2 finished today. I ran into a small bash programming snag which is baffling me at the moment. Wish I knew someone that was more familiar with bash programming...

Excellent work!

Anyone know where the blue and black wallpaper that comes preinstalled is stored? I changed my wallpaper but would like to change it back to the original "Blurry" wallpaper...

Which one? The one from Blurry 2.4 or 2.4.1?

Check /sdcard/Blurry/Wallpapers.

After updating to 2.4.1, OTA Updater may notify you to update to 2.4.1 instead of 2.5, just click cancel and click Check for Updates. It will switch to 2.5.

So how does this new init.d governor script work?

SetCPU and other utilities for settings CPU frequency will not work due to the way this init.d script works. It has built in profiles similar to SetCPU. It works as follows:

Note: There is a 10 second timer when the screen turns off. If turned back on within 10 seconds, it will not apply the sleep frequencies.

  • Battery Discharging
    • Battery percentage greater than 15%
      • Screen On
        • If CPU Slots = 5
          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,600,800,1000,1200)
        • If CPU Slots = 4
          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,600,800,1000)
        • Set Governor to HotplugX
        • Set Scheduler to Noop
      • Screen Off
        • If CPU Slots = 5
          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,350,450,525,600)
        • If CPU Slots = 4
          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,400,500,600)
        • Set Governor to PegasusQ
        • Set Scheduler to SIO
    • Battery percentage less than or equal to 15%
      • Screen On
        • If CPU Slots = 5
          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,450,600,800,1000)
        • If CPU Slots = 4
          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,475,650,800)
        • Set Governor to PegasusQ
        • Set Scheduler to SIO

          • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,400,500,600)
        • Set Governor to PegasusQ
        • Set Scheduler to SIO
  • Battery Charging
    • Screen On
      • If CPU Slots = 5
        • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,600,800,1000,1200)
      • If CPU Slots = 4
        • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,600,800,1000)
      • Set Governor to HotplugX
      • Set Scheduler to Noop
    • Screen Off

      • If CPU Slots = 4
        • Set CPU Frequencies to (300,400,500,600)
      • Set Governor to PegasusQ
      • Set Scheduler to SIO

*Notes for Overclock.zip in /sdcard/BlurryMods*
The overclock zip will replace the init.d governor script with a new one for overclocking. 5 slot Bionics will OC to 1.25Ghz, 4 slot Bionics will OC to 1.2Ghz. Sleep frequencies stay the same however.

Whats coming down the pipe next?

The next update will have the following:

-New boot animation

-Blurry icon pack

-Slightly altered lockscreen

-Inverted Google Now

-Fix webtop so lapdocks work properly

-Anything else I think of or run across
