Any way to get the updated Google Music and Hangout apps to work (Install) would be greatly appreciated.  Enjoying this ROM, thank you!

You can download a file manager from the market that uses root, navigate to /system/app and delete talk.apk and music2.apk then you can install the new Google Music and Hangout from the market. Or you can download something like root uninstaller or uninstall master from the market and uninstall them, then install the new ones from the market.

Thanks, that worked.  I was going to do this but I remember in this thread someone said doing this didn't work.  It may have been 1.0

I mean i can install and launch the app but then it says it needs to update Google services but is unable to do so because it is incompatible with my device. Any ideas? It seems weird i can install the app but not get this message.

Im not sure what to tell you. I just uninstalled Google Music, Talk, and Gmail. Rebooted. Then installed all three new ones from the market and all three worked...

Shame all those apps were so beautifully themed before (love the calendar Btw, but haven't been told of a Gmail update) Helpfully we can see some inverted love on hangouts (not that different from talk) and play music. Love dark apps and this ROM delivers!
Edit: been seeing more music playback 'skipping' recently, both new and old versions of Google play music. I think it might have something to do with acid audio. I was looking through the settings and am not sure enabling/disabling the notifier actually turns out on or off or not.

That's a mildly annoying thing happening with the recent apps but I think it is the way moto built the rom base. I'm used to bringing up recent apps and seeing all of them but if you have opened apps without going to the home screen (ie, through notifications, etc) those last few plus the one you have open currently won't show up unless you press home, then look in recent apps again

Installed and have been using as my DD fom 3 days.   Really like and appreciate the work put into this ROM.   Got me all excited about my Bionic again.    I was noticing some lagging but now that the ROM has settled its much better.  Battery life is improved too.   Glad to see the chrome alternative browser.   I am experiencing the music skipping with Pandora.  I'm going to uncheck autostart on boot and see if having it running is related to the skipping.

Anyone know what's up with 4g? It hasn't swapped over since I installed this ROM a week ago.

Skipping on bluetooth playback?

I wish I could help you out but I cant think of a anything we did that would affect 4G service. Remember, this is just the OTA but modified.

Webtop crashes when I connect to my lapdock 100.  I assume this is a known issue with the ROM?  Great ROM!

I have stayed on alpha 5 since that was the last time I could get it to work with the lapdock. I get a SystemUI crash when it tries to switch layouts.
