That'll restore it. I keep a backup of the preinstall folder on my sdcard just in case I need to remove safestrap for whatever reason.

if you mean the folder that holds all the "bloat" that everyone removes, I never touch that. It should be stock.......

Install didn't reboot, like before. I think ICS is installing real slow..........

RSD or use utility to flash back to .173 then install the voodoo via utility, DL es file manager and rom manager and follow the OP.

I just flashed back and re installed ICS(installing 75%) trying to get my root back.

The new .zip isnt working either... the files are supposed to go directly into the /cache right?

Issue for me was I was running Bootstrap instead of stock recovery.

Got it working! Thanks. ICS is very smooth on the RAZR!

My root did not stick and the terminal fix gives me an error... So, once I get some sleep and enjoy ICS for a while I'm going to go back to RSD, re-load and try once again in order to get root back... Thanks for all of the work that went into this.
