Ok, got the camera to work by wiping the system cache, and wiping the data from the camera app. ICS seems kinda laggy and slow to me, especially the startup.

As it runs it gets better... after a few reboots she flies!Ok, got the camera to work by wiping the system cache, and wiping the data from the camera app. ICS seems kinda laggy and slow to me, especially the startup.
And I'm finding battery life to be excellant... download the Chome beta browser it makes the old browser look like IE or Safari

Post a screenshot of terminal emulator with your inputs and the error

do I have to wipe data/cache in recovery before I install ICS? I am afraid it it deleting my Rootkeeper file.

i did the whole process again and didnt loose root. is trhere a stock way on the leak to take screenshots?Post a screenshot of terminal emulator with your inputs and the error

I followed the video. It went thru the process but booted in GB.
A question about the renaming of files. When I downloaded from the hive, the only file that didnt have something different was the larger folder. I renamed it to .zip but the crc file was the same.
What did I do wrong?
cancel, it was the renaming that caused the issue. The update completed. But the CAMERA is not working.
I did too i had to do a flashboot restore three times before i got it to work.

Never mind had to go to Ti backup and wipe its data.
Also screenshot long hold power and lower side key. (Like a reset)

I would like to thank all involved. I have ICS and it's running like a charm. After monkeying around with it for a few days and having the same problems as many on here I finally had time to really get to it today. I used Matt's utility (1.51) to go back to .173, re-root and install voodoo root keeper and then followed the op. I should add that I did a full factory/data/davlik wipe right after return to .173 stock. I had to use the terminal method to regain full root, but all is well now. As others have said, I think a clean start is essential if you are having any problems. I defrosted and changed all stubborn bloat from .bak to .apk and it still wouldn't work without the return to a clean .173.
