ok, i was on stock .173 rooted. I did the update & everything is fine, rooted and all except my visual voicemail wont work(keeps dialing) & the camera wont open at all it just says unfortuneitely the camera has stopped & even though i have the pattern unlock set it doesn`t ask me for it when unlocking the phone. should i boot into recovery & do a factory wipe. would this fix the issues i`m having or maybe factory wipe& reinstall. hope i can get those fixed i hate to go back to .173

Can't speak for the rest, but for the unlock... what is your delay set to? It defaults to 10 minutes, so it won't ask for any unlock beyond sliding until that time has passed with it sleeping.

I had all the files and when touching the file, pick rom manager the phone rebooted every time right back into GB. Also every time I set temp un-root then rom manager told me it had to have root to continue.
After reading vast amounts of threads someone (sorry can not recall and thank you!) said that rom manager premium users need the free version. What I did was to uninstall the key and free rom manager then deleted the CW folder, installed the free version and it worked the first time. Also when into root keeper and now I have full root.

got the unlock to work. but the camera wont even launch & my visual voicemail doesnt work. should i try a factory reset or will that wipe out my root? and what about a hard reboot & how do i do that? thanx

Follow the new instructions on the OP. it worked for me.

Super stable. Minor bugs, as you would expect from a soak test leak, but no worse than any other rom.

Idk but you should try restoring to again via Matt's Utility and see if maybe you weren't completely stock.

I second this. I use his utility on Linux, but before this leak I always had to do it twice to fully fastboot and be able to update.

Ur missing some preinstall videos. I have no idea y u would need them 4 update but wont work if not in right place. Use Matts Utility 1.51 i think. 1.41 worked 4 me as well.

Only bug I've seen is no widget names under drop down menu. No biggie tho. I can see pics.


P.S. Camera works fine & camcorder 2 record! No other problems. No wipe & have 84 personal apps installed. Pretty d good running leak!!

I had this also when I installed Nova Launcher, running stock launcher now.

You can also see the text if you tap and hold the icon, you just can't let go or that widget will be placed on the home screen. I just scroll the widget list up/down to prevent that.
The only goofy thing I've seen has to do with battery level after a reboot. My phone shows normal battery discharge as long as I don't reboot it. However, after a reboot, it can go from 65% to 35% all of a sudden.
