I am back on the leak. I fallowed directions and lost root. Does the terminal method still work? What ever happen to this app that you use to root ics leak?

I am getting to the last command in terminal. cp/system/su-backup/system/bin/su
I am getting a not found. Am I typing it wrong?

Thought it worked as I did not get errors and found there is a space between cp and /. I rebooted and rootkeeper still says root su restored but the device rooted and permissions are not checked. I am going to try reflashing again with matts utility 1.51. I am going to see if that will root ics. Says its compatible in the file name. Worth a shot.

I have a file on my computer that I wonder if it will root ics and how? Called ICS_Root_6.14.8x
Anyone know? I do not know how I got this file lol.

Not sure if it's written before but it must all be in lower case... SlideIt keyboard would only type in upper case. Worked like a charm once I got that figured out, lol

Glad you finally got it sorted out, but... How much clearer can I possibly make it? Are you seriously implying that you couldn't figure out to hit enter after each command? Many others have had no issue at all!

@pill, I never messed with terminal before. I am not taking a stab at your hard work. Sometimes things need to be broken down barny style for some. And in this case, for me. I do thank you for this thread.

@pill. Well the funny part was that day I saw Matt had the new 79 ics leak. So that fixed I did for root on 75 was short lived lol.

I have Moto Razr....I will cut you.
