Finally downloaded and decided to run this ROM, with the BW Theme. Everything looks good so far.
Just a heads-up, the boot.img link is down.

Ok so I thought I plugged my phone in last night and I guess not this battery life is insane, before I used this ROM my phone maybe at around 10% and I mean maybe, most likely it would have been dead. Check the image below I'm at 40% and I haven't even cycled the battery yet since flashing.
Are you running CPU Sleeper? If not, start it and batt life will go up even more. Also, use the BW theme and batt life will increase a little bit too.

Yeah I started it yesterday at some point. I was thinking of grabbing it, it looks nice. I'm not at home now going to a wedding so I will have to wait until I get back before flashing it.Are you running CPU Sleeper? If not, start it and batt life will go up even more. I am rooted and bootloader unlocked via the utility tool. I am getting ready to flash this rom, but the kernel link says the file has been removed. Is it now included with the rom?

Here's a mirror to the 4.1.1 boot.img for anyone interested.

Let me rephrase my question please. I've downloaded the rom but have not flashed yet. I am bootloader unlocked, if I need to flash a separate kernel, where do I get it. I did not see a list. Because of the dev unlock that Moto imposes, I see people talking about flashing kernels differently than the HTC phones that I have had.
Now that the bootloader is unlocked via the utility tool, do I still need to do that? Or is the kernel now included in the rom zip in the OP?
Sorry guys, I feel like a newbie all over again with a moto phone. not as tech savy as most of you, but I have rooted a number of phones and flashed plenty of roms. Just not this way.

There is no kernel included in this ROM, you have to flash it separately. I don't know what method there is to do that because I don't even own this phone.

It'd be great if you guys could incorporate the 4.1.2 boot IMG so that those of us who flashed it for the sake of the radio don't run into issues with finding a way to downgrade.
Several of us have discovered that the reason 4.1.2 does not work with M Rage is that the camera becomes broken. Everything else seems to run fine...

The reason why 4.1.2 doesn't work is because this ROM is not made for 4.1.2 (as stated in the OP multiple times).
However, as I've also stated, I'm looking into moving this ROM over to the 4.1.2 base and when I do, I will include the kernel.

It was funny that I forgot to flash the boot img in the OP after I flashed the ROM and I went to a wedding trying to take pics and my camera wasn't working lol.. I got so giddy after I rebooted my phone to let ROM initialize that it slipped my mind. Thankfully I was able to revert back to stock quickly so I could take pictures. I guess what happened was that before I flashed the ROM I got the ota update. After I got back I backed up all my pics and reverted back to the ROM, rebooted, and flashed the boot.img and viola the camera worked... A total noob mistake lmao
