I had to return to stock from a custom rom, in order to straighten out a problem that I was having. While back in stock, I noticed that my Google Play Store app had updated. When I go back into the rom, it does not. I do not see any way of getting it to update on its own. Any suggestions?

You're using a completely different set of apps when you switch to a custom ROM. Most custom ROMs (unless they are stock based) will not update automatically. That's an easy fix, just download the new Play Store and install it like a normal app on your ROM.
