Alright, having some issues and cant figure it out. Tried several different things. Here's a rundown..Razr Maxx HD Stock 4.1.2 Rooted with motochopper, bootloader unlocked w/ motopocalypse, (TWRP).. Followed steps of backup, wipe, flash kernel, flash ROM. The kernel flashes successful, but when i flash the RageHD.zip it starts the flash, begins to run and fails at the binary files. Thought it was the download, redownloaded and getting same error? Any help/ideas on what could cause this?

TWRP 2.5.0.0 right? If not, upgrade. System mounted right? If not, mount system before flashing. If all of the above are correct, you may have a bad DL. Check the md5

Sounds like you forgot to mount the system prior to installing.

Silly question...whats the best 1% battery icon to use with this. i've tried flashing a few...and it's borked the phone each time! haha

Give Power Toggles a try in the market... free, and adds a nice 1% battery icon as well as a very slick power toggle pulldown menu. I'd pay money for this, but it's free.

Is it required to mount /system even if I'm just updating from 1.0--->1.2. Or just wipe cache/dalvick and flash update.

It is always required to mount system if flashing something that doesn't include a kernel. This does not, so yes you need to mount system or flash will fail.

I advise people who experience so much lag and freezing on this rom to disable or uninstall Cpu sleeper. It fixed my issue and I am experiencing the butter again

Or maybe try a cache cleaner once a day worked on safe still using it nhavent had problem on this or Eclipse

I used Clean Master, Greenify, and various other apps to help with the lag. It's CPU Sleeper. The app is terrible. The last time it was updated was last year so I'm guessing the developer abandoned the project.
