I mounted...advanced wiped. Installed ROM, and that's it. Im already on 4.1.2 and unlocked bootloader. I dont want the theme so I only installed the ROM..when I go to reboot it gives me the no OS error.

I just did normal wipe mounted system flashed rom and kernel same time even though Im on 4.1.2 worked firzt pop. Where are all the crack flashers to quiet around here.

You have to also flash the 4.1.2 boot.img (first) listed in the OP.

When I try to install, it says "OS not installed" when I hit reboot after flashing. Then nothing. Have to boot back into recovery and restore. What am I missing?

What Rom are you coming from?
If you are already on 4.1.2, you shouldn't need to flash the boot image, although it shouldn't hurt if you do.

Ahh that one, ok what I did coming from DST

 

 

1. Everytime you do something Check your Mounts in TWRP, Check system etc, and go back, (hit the back button back to home)

2. I Wiped

3. I restored my Factory 4.1.2 backup, not needed but I did I was already on 4.1.2

4. Download BDH rad Rom

Don't forget to put everything on SDCARD

5. Back to TWRP you go (again mount cant stress enough!) Wipe Wipe Wipe

6. Install 4.1.2 Kernel, then install BDH rad ROM, Reboot & wait

7. all should be good, Don't forget to check unknown sources & debug again don't forget to update and update google now, do a search if you have ta in playstore, Reboot 2x

8. Check out Zoo's Rad theme

XT926 with 1.1 Wifi is grayed out. it slides but will not stay over to the ON side. So wifi does not work for me. Also Wifi tether not working. Clean install with wipe. Cant seem to get it to work. Any ideas?

Wifi issues like that seem to be from a corrupted kernel install.
What were you running before 1.1 and did wifi work then?

Depends on the rom.
That is what I have for this also. Maybe the install didn't go as it should have.
Do you have a good 4.1.2 nandroid to flash back to?
I would do that, make sure superuser binaries are up to date, and reflash 1.1.

This Rom doesn't come with a kernel. It uses whatever your existing system image is. That is why they tell you to mount system when you flash the rom. That is why you have to be coming from a Rom on the same kernel version.

That is why I said to reflash an existing 4.1.2 nandroid (backup) to get your system stable and on the same version as this Rom. Then follow the directions in the OP.

I was using RageHD 1.00 and wifi worked. Wifi on RageHD 1.1 wifi and tether do not work. any ideas why?

You need to get Trevs wifi tether 3.2 beta2 and change some permissions. Working fine
