I did not mount the system prior to installing. Normally the install script does that for you.

 

Since this unlocked thing is so new to Moto I don't think they have a script going yet

Running just fine on my unlocked Maxx HD. Is there any way to get the gallery to sync with Picasa albums?

Edit: reinstalled and then option showed up. Awesome job with this ROM!

after the boot logo M i get a fuzzy screen for half a second then i get the black screen of death. It won't install for me. I guess I will just break out the Root Toolkit and flash back to stock

basic questions did you wipe hard, mount system, install boot.img, install rom, then reboot let sit for maybe 3 minutes?

After downloading from goo and verifying md5...finally installed(wiped system,data,cache and mounted system) then viola! Great ROM fast and smooth!

yeah try that, very possible that my download or upload for that mirror was bad, not sure why the md5 is different.

Edit: tried mounting system first and nothing. I still get the BSOD

Yeah I had a really funky install with twrp and after powering down rebooting to bootloader and re-running through the steps (wipe and mount) about 3 times it worked. Really weird.

Running like a champ now

Also make sure when your in twrp/mount that there is an x in system and you have internal SD selected at the bottom gray bar. Mine switches over to external when I was aokp which was causing the install to go bonky. I believe it was attempting to install DATa and system files to the ext sd

To clarify (on twrp)... wipe.. go to Mount, ensure the bottom grey bar "Storage: Internal SD" then check mount system

it was the mirror. I downloaded from Goo and it finally booted. I forgot that blur won't let you run the rom without a sim so im still up a creek LOL

Agree with others - between bad downloads and the mirror MD5 not matching, I nuked it 5 times total.  BUT - with a good goo download, all is well now!

Does circle widget, Smart Actions & Favorite contacts widget work with this? Really spoiled with those and dont want to lose them.

Yes im having the same issue. Google now opens just fine, but when i try and search or voice search it force closes immedietly. Deal breaker for me, i use google search all the time on my phone. I really like this rom, i was running it on my xt912 until i got the hd. Was really glad to see it here for the hd, but i gotta have google search working so back to stock for me now until this gets resolved. Props to BDH and the team rage crew im sure they'll have a fix soon.
