Is there a way to install SuperSU instead of CWM Superuser? On stock I was able to just install from Playstore and it just took over from ChainsDD Superuser. I didn't realize that the Superuser was a different version. Now I'm in the process of wiping. I tried installing in recovery with zip and that didn't work either. Any suggestions?


Do a RSD lite factory reset or with Razr utility back to stock so you will loose root... then root 4.1.2 with Dan Rosenberg's method and it will install superSU as your supueruser

Well, I figured it out. Thankfully since I made backups I was able to start over and get back to where I left off within a few hours. I then went back and messed around a bit. I deleted Superuser app(s) and used

which has Dan's method. Worked like a charm and didn't have to SBF (screw that - this is one of the reasons an unlocked bootloader comes in handy). Now, I have RageHD2 downloading and I'm wondering if I'll have to start over again when I flash that (first download would flash). I'm assuming that worst case I can restore Data, correct?

RageHD v1.1 is currently uploading!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FILE UNTIL IT'S POSTED HERE, OR PUSHED TO YOUR PHONE!

 

I absolutely will NOT help you, if you download an incomplete file and try to flash it. It will be pushed to your phones shortly and then will be posted here in about 7 hours. So I would say that in about 2 hours, you can start checking Goo Manager for updates.

Lol sorry! The only changes to this are a working 4.2.2 camera and Gallery :) It's still going to be a while before it's uploaded so you can just load up 1.0 now then flash 1.1 in a couple hours like a real crackflasher lol.

According to the Change List, 1.1 removes Loopy Smoothness. I thought this was supposed to be a wonderful thing. Did it not live up to the promise?

 

BTW: On my brand new, clean  Razr Maxx HD with stock 4.1.2 I got just over 9800 on Antutu. After I loaded it with apps, it dropped by about 1000.  With Rage HD fully loaded I got a score of 11,217!

If you root, unlock your boot loader, and install twrp or cwm you won't need safestrap

Loopy Smoothness is great, however, in my opinion it makes the device slower so that it scrolls smoother. This is why it was removed.
