Not sure if this is a dumb question or not (been up for 36hrs and counting) but after flashing can I restore Data from stock 4.1.2?

I've restored data only before with no problems except with a few choice apps. Just needed to clear cache for those

I wouldn't... Stock isn't deoxexed, this is. It will almost certainly give issues with system apps. I accidentally did a data restore from odexed system once and ended up trashing system ui.

Reboot TWRP or CWM recovery and flash zip.

No wipe, just flash.

How come it didnt have to flash the kernel and it worked?

Loaded CWM, wiped everythinng, mounted system, wiped dalvik, loaded rom, loaded kernel, rebooted and am stuck at rotating droid eye. How long should it stay there?

Running smooth. With CPU sleeper, I only lost like 6% overnight in battery life.

Thanks. I'll be trying this later tonight. Not looking forward to setting up my homescreens again but im sure it will be worth it.
