The moto widget has both better aesthetics and functionality.

 

Maybe, but then you are using Blur and everything that it comes with.  At that point you might as well just stay stock and rooted.  hehe

Ok....its the theme...rage ROM has the power off, after flashing blue theme it replaces it with "sleep?" Sorry to clutter up the forum....

OK...I feel silly now...sleep in this instance is powering the phone down and not putting it in some sort of sleep mode..I was trying to figure out how to shut it down haha..sorry again for cluttering the forum

i'm using the following setting but i'm not sure how to check if they are effective. any has a guess about it??!

on page 12, I wrote a set of instructions I followed, based on reading pages 1-11, then it not working!  Part of those instructions are here:

 

You are now ready to install the ROM

 

7.  Reboot into recovery - it should be one you just installed and Do a full nandroid backup so you have your starting point, and can return to it if need be. 

8.  Wipe as needed (I'll assume you know what this means - dalvik, cache, system, etc.)

9.  INSTALL (i.e. FLASH) the ROM (you may need to search for it after hitting INSTALL

10.  INSTALL the Kernel.  You can do this in one step with step 9, or one right after the other.

11.  Once the install is done - REBOOT SYSTEM.

12.  Should work.........................  The first boot may take a while - don't panic.

 

I DID flash the rom first, then the kernel and it worked fine.  I have no clue why as others seemed to have luck with the other way around.  So, if any one knows, please share!

This has happened on all ROM's - I think it is the light sensor - turns screen off when you don't need it, but back on when it thinks you may be looking at it.

For anyone willing to try this... im 90% sure that this improved my internet speed so i wanna share this to get some opinions and if it is making a difference for everyone maybe we can see this tweaks on the next build.

So the app is free on the market and its called pimp my Rom...i've used it on several custom roms since the O.G razr maxx, i dont recommend trying anything else on this app besides the internet tweaks if you do either way you're on your own (make a back up). Below i will post a picture where it shows what i have checked under the internet speed tweaks menu which i pretty much checked them all lol, like i said i do feel a little faster internet and media streaming after i applying this settings and of course REBOOT.

I also recommend installing the latest busybox if you haven't before you try this.
