Why would mine be any different than yours? We both have RAZR Maxx HD, correct?

That's really weird, it's totally different than what it looks like on mine. Mine doesn't say anything about "unmounting" - it just has a list of things with check-boxes next to them, and the ones that are checked are mounted.

Yep. 1-Click is V4 now and I have swapped out several different img files of 2.5.0.0, 2.4.4.0 & 2.4.3.0. Also tried different methods of installing the recovery with the same results.

Have you tried the actual run.bat 1 click option or are you going old school, pushing .img files?

That really shouldn't matter, though. It's the TWRP img that matters. for whatever reason I'm just not getting the same options available as most others. But someone said in this topic that you can't mount System in TWRP and that you have to use CWM. He must have the same thing as me. Cuz, I have those options in CWM. Makes no sense.

Tried both 1-click and manual adb push. 1-click is what I've mainly been using, though.

I just tried AGAIN by manual ADB Push and still the same thing. I just don't understand why the option to mount USB Storage is there. I wonder if this might have something to do with settings within the phone.

Keep running it over and over till you get the score you want.  LOL

I think you get higher scores, maybe because the tests are cached in memory or something?

Negative. Usually the more you run it, the lower the scores.

I have seen it go both ways.  First run 5400, second run 5967, third run 4953, etc...  It's all over the place, and it seems like luck of the draw if you happen to catch it at a minute where other apps are idle, email is not coming in, news feed isn't updating, etc...  But the point is you can run it and run it till you eventually get the best score, screen cap that and then present it as, "Look how fast my phone is"...  ;-)

So would you get a higher score if you turned off sync and stuff?

Possibly.  There are ways to get a higher score, without actually gaining performance.  When I started overclocking PC's years ago(first OC'd system I built was with a Cyrix PR166+ CPU, there, I just dated myself), people have been going crazy trying to get higher scores in benchmarks.   Overclocking does add performance.  But people started modding Windows, removing services, stripping out the GUI and all sorts of stuff, just to get a higher score.  Which was meaningless if the PC was being cooled by a cup of liquid nitrogen and would only stay stable in a mostly unusable OS for just long enough to comlete the test.

Not the case here, just saying... there are things you can do to boost a score, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the device is actually "faster"...

Heck, just having a faster SD card can make the difference for the read/write part of the test...
