yeah uh TiBu works fine for me on my Touchpad, Droid X, RAZR, and on the Nexus S 4G and Galaxy Nexus i've rooted for friends. I really don't think there's any problems with ICS.

ICS to ICS on the same version sure. There are far too many people in this thread trying to restore data from GB to ICS. As this is an upgrade from GB to ICS thread I'd rather not deal with questions of why XYZ doesn't work when it's usually related to a bad restore. Very similar to how when you RSD/fastboot back from ICS to GB and you have to wipe the phone otherwise the thing won't even function except on a much lesser level.

Ok so how and will the ICS leak ever work for the 181 update?

is anyone on the leak having signal problems, i had to revert back to gb because around last thursday my signal went to only 2 bars no matter where i went, after flashing .173 back i am back to normal full bars of service. just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. i have been running the leak for a month with no problems until now.

OP states you have to be on 173. RSD/Fastboot back to 173 and follow the directions.

I haven't had any different signal that on GB where I'm at and I'm in a low signal environment. Same dB ratings and dead spots in my building as 173/181. Outside and away from the 600k sq foot monstrosity that is my work I never drop 4G (including indoors pretty much anywhere except work).

Yep. It was killing my battery so I reverted back to 173

I tried installing this leak, and it was going fine, until I went into an area where the signal was not as good. I don't have any screenshots to show, but, the 1x/3g/4g symbols had disappeared and I lost ALL data connectivity. I tried factory restoring, but I get a lot of work emails on my phone, and had to downgrade back to GB. Has anyone else had this issue? Fix?

I've lost data multiple times but it always comes back after a few minutes.

My data was gone around 8 hours when I finally decided to downgrade again

Hmm... I always had the worst signal when on any ICS roms. Constant data drops and rebooting, eventually having to reflash. With the leak I have had perfect signal and when I seldom do lose data, it always returns within a minute or two

I'm tempted to try just reinstalling...I might try that a little later. If I just knew when official ICS was coming I'd be more willing to just wait.

My data signal is better on the rom I'm on than it was on the leak and gb
Only random data drops that are easily fixed. I am thinking about going back to the leak though

I tried that. And when I reverted back to 173 it immediatly reinstalled 181. So theres no way for me to get back on 173. Tried it twice.

Oh well, Ill stick with the newest for now.

Delete the 181 file from your phone then.

Rsd back to 173 and flash away.

Keep in mind that the signal bars are being tweaked from version to version, rom to rom... Signal bars are NOT an accurate way to measure signal strength... Go to the network status screen and check your dB/asu strengths as those will never change...

Mind giving me a quick hot to on doing that? lol, I thought it was in the cache and I deleted a download file in there but apparently, it happened to reinstall 181 when I went back to 173. Im using Matts utility to do this also, havnt used RSD. Would that make a difference?

Is there a way (with boot loader possibly?) to have stock, a second ROM (in my case Axiom), and also ICS? I'd like to load ICS but not lose my ROM....
Or, by using Safestrap can I create a full backup of my ROM and restore to it when needed, or is Safestrap only for stock?
