Ok. I had the same issue with cheesecake just spinning while communicating with server and I finally figured it out. Using droidutility go back to stock .173. Then after you booted into it create and login with a motocast id. Then root, cheescake, select staging server and update. Is working for me, I am finally downloading the update.

And yet another question that has been answered numerous times. Besides, the use of cheesecake is "not advocated for use" on this site.



Really should i slap you know or later smart rear end, i have a family and i cant sit here and read every post its moving so fast and i read what i can, i love you!

Wow watch the language please, there are minors that login to this site. You don't have to read EVERY page in this thread. There's a search button at the top of the page that will search this thread for whatever you want it to search for. That was his point.

Guys, seriously I'll say it again. Stay away from the Cheesecake app if you don't know what it is, don't know how to use it, don't know where to download it. A download link has been posted about 10 times in this thread now, as well as posts about what server to go to and how to go about getting the update. I understand we're all Android family here but the same exact questions getting asked over and over and over again are getting out of control.

Wiping the phone and fastbooting with the Matt application will fix the motorola account problem? I can wait, I found 1 post warning about Cheesecake, and dozens expounding it's goodness. The warning needs to be in the first post so it can be taken seriously. This thread made it sound so simple to do with cheesecake, else I would have waited. So don't put all the blame on the so-called n00bs.

Well i am sorry for that, i dont usually act like that, i love this site and i visit it everyday, but if it bothered him so much he should have kept it to him self, it was a harmless question.

What I posted was another warning post. I wasn't blaming anyone, I was simply trying to say, if you don't know what you're doing then stay away from it. Simple as that, you can take it how you want but I'm just trying to help you.

I +1 that. I never find anything using the search. I use my phone for everything, the searches don't work well on tapatalk.

So anyway, has anyone else successfully got the update installed and kept root? Still waiting on my battery to charge a little more before I try it. Last time the download took well over an hour on my phone so I need quite a bit of battery. Just want to see how many other people successfully kept root after the update.

Normally cheesecake makes me happy! I love cheesecake! Just not in .apk form! :)
