If this is an issue, you can fastboot back to stock to correct any changes that may have been made. To fastboot, and . Make sure you grab the files for the version you are currently on.Me too. I'm concerned I've hosed updates for my phone.

I keep getting Communicating to server. It's been over an hour now. My guess is I would need to data wipe which I'm not. So I guess I'll wait for the update.

Mine said install failed! Guess I gotta Factory reset to download. Hey can i use safe strap and do advance restore and get all my data from my GB backup?

I have used cheesecake and I am currently downloading the update (taking a while but I expected it to). I want to make sure if I install the update, that it will install by itself like a regular update and won't be any different than if we had gotten it to side load? I've read all of the 20 pages and didn't see a clear answer on this. Also, do I really need to do a backup? Does installing the update delete my text, call logs etc. Thanks.

Got tired of messing with cheesecakes quirks and forced my phone to check the motodev server manually
