Pretty sure that when it is available you're going to HAVE to be on stock 173.

I could be wrong but I think that is how you install apps that didn't come from the play store. Under settings checking the box that allows installations from unknown sources. Don't think it will let you do it.what exactly you mean by sideloaded? my phone is updating

In this instance the file won't install from the SD card. still working on it.

Sideloading in this context refers to flashing an image from some external source in stock recovery.

You'll probably have to RSD or side load. Doubt it can be a direct flash in CWM. Anyone check bootloader status after flashing?
