Relax everyone P3Droid is working on a way to package this up so it will be a little bit install friendly. I HIGHLY , WELL NEVERMING , GET ON STOCK 173, NO SAFE STRAP OR BOOT STRAP. JUST STOCK.

I'll wait for P3Droid... Gummy is working fine for me so I can be patient... I think. I'm still a bit weirded out about my leak feeling I had over in the gummy thread. I pretty much predicted this lol.

put the CRC and .zip in /cache then check for system update. can that possible work? lol usuallly it says theres an update available

No I tried that. Didn't work had to rsd back to stock.

Did you just directly install it after pulling the updates? Rooted and all? -- mine failed using that method :=(

Yes installed directly once the update downloaded. Not sure if this was the difference but before I even tried to pull the file I fastbooted all the way back to .744, OTA'd up to .173, rooted, OTA Rootkeeper, downloaded and installed. Was a flawless experience for me. I can't remember the exact name but I pulled the update from Cheesecake under staging, was the third one down in the list had the number 100 in the file name.

That's exactly what I did and it worked for me. Only difference is that I did a factory reset as well.

I actually did a factory reset as well but I forgot to type it in. Lol. I never really understood why some people try to take the easy way out by only doing half the steps they are supposed to. As an end user I want the best experience possible. Why screw all that up by not doing something the right way?

Downloaded using Cheesecake. Doing a backup now. The phone already prompted me to install the update, so I should be good to go.

I just want the update file cant find it got everything else!

So my question to everyone. What are you going to do if this does mess up the radios and cause you not to be able to get the OTA?

OMGGGG!!!! FAIL FAIL FAIL...cheesecake kept failing so i said screw this went to reboot to Wipe Data and as its Shutting down the update for ICS comes up...Gosh dangit

You'll be able to fastboot back to a previous version using RSD Lite. This is a non-issue.

so can i jut go into the setting and do a reset to get just stock
