I tried QA it wouldn't load for me. I'll try it again.
You may have to data wipe if it's not working at first. -- one of the lovely pains of Cheesecakin'.

So where is /cache located exactly on the phone? Is it a hidden file? Can I put the CRC file into this folder, along with the update and have it work?

I used root explorer. and Voodoo Root Keeper.So where is /cache located exactly on the phone? Is it a hidden file? Can I put the CRC file into this folder, along with the update and have it work?

Here's a quick guide. This doesn't mention the faster way of downloading the files from the users on here but actually uses Motorola's servers:

spc.... did you fast boot back to .744? Or use mattlegrofs utility to .173?

I used RSD to go back to 744 then updated to .173
From there i used the utility to root 173
Installed cheesecake and ota root keeper
Backed up root
Server i used on cheesecake was master blur 100 or something like that. It had the number 100 in the title.
Downloaded and installed the update
Restored root
*i did NO factory reset or anything when i was on 173.

Relax everyone P3Droid is working on a way to package this up so it will be a little bit install friendly. I HIGHLY , WELL NEVERMING , GET ON STOCK 173, NO SAFE STRAP OR BOOT STRAP. JUST STOCK.
