If you plug into wall charger for a few hours then I'm sure you'll be set.

Yeah, I got that problem with this Rom, too. You can't use Internet, but enjoy the Darkness

J/k

You have to set your APN in Networksettings manually.

Just ask Google for >APN 'CARRIERNAME' Android< and you'll find the right one for your carrier

Rogers Wireless APN Settings, Data & MMS

MAKE SURE YOU SETUP TWO DIFFERENT APNS, ONE FOR DATA AND ONE FOR MMS!!!

Here are the settings for Data

Name: Rogers
APN: internet.com
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap
MCC: 302
MNC: 72 (If that doesn't work try 720, its already filled in, leave it at what it is)

Leave the rest blank. Now you Data should be working

Here are the settings Multimedia Messaging

Name: Rogers MMS
APN: media.com
Username: media
Password: mda01
Server: 172.25.0.107
MMSC :

MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80

Reboot & bootloop after turning bluetooth ON. I'm on GSM 2.3.6 AsiaRetail then flash BlackWidow 2012-05-17 with patch from HSD-Pilot.

Crap, I bricked again lol. Does anyone actually know how to change the boot logo to something other than stock and what you have here. It's not really that big of a deal but trying and bricking gets depressing after a couple times. Oh and fastboot restoring your phone does not change the boot logo back either, not that that is a bad thing, but it doesn't.

The Patch has nothing to do with the Bluetooth issue. If the Patch wouldn't work you would got fc android.phone.com by starting your Phone.

I got no Asian RazR, so i couldn't test it with an Asian FW. But for me it sounds like an 2.3.5...

Is there any reason why downgrading to Gingerbread wouldn't work FROM this ROM?

Just to get this out of the way... CDMA X912, DARK AOKP M5 build 36, with no other mods to the ROM.

My experience: I've had the ROM for about 3 weeks now, and have had a few problems that I'd like to put out there. I had to do the install process 3 times before I could get past the boot animation. The battery-life was terrible for the first week (~40% less than stock), then I charged it to full and cleared the battery stats then it was pretty good comparable to stock rom. Maybe a little better. I travel from a 4g area to an extremely rural data connection (1xEVDO and NONE), and in a terrible signal area the data was in and out. I could never tell because the display only showed "R" the whole time. After clearing the cache and dalvik, I installed the AOKP zip again. It cleared up a few of the hiccups in the data (only showing the "R" beside the signal bars). Don't get me wrong, all of these bugs aside I love this ROM. But I figured everyone on here needed to know.

Forgot to mention I use CWM Recovery.

ook, but you dont need to reflash the rom to get data back.. its a simple toggle. and having the rom being built off a gb kernel, expecting perfect data imo is asking High considering no gb ics roms are running solid.. but thx for the feedback.

I understand, and I utilized the GSM Only to GSM/CDMA Auto PRL toggle multiple times a day. The main motivation for switching back to stock is because hopefully ICS rolls out soon. (everyone says that don't they?) That and the fact that I couldn't tell if there was no signal, or I hadn't toggled the data yet so sometimes I went half a day without data and didn't realize. Granted it was before the last install smoothed out some of the bumps so I can't really comment on how it is now since I haven't been back.

an easy way to know if data is connected is you will have either blue signal bars... if its already been toggled from GSM only to gsm/cdma auto prl and it loses data it wont show an R., it will either display grey signal bars or none.. in which is the toggle method through phone info doesnt work, reboot into recovery and just wipe cache and dalvik then reboot.

I don't know what to say, I would browse the internet while the data connection still said R in the corner, and it would never change. Not until after the re-flash.

I also have this issue with opening the text messaging app from the lockscreen. When I open it, and I had left it open before I locked it, it doesn't type in the text box. I can see the text correction giving me suggestions, but the text doesn't show up in the box. I have to restart the app. Again, sorry about all the posts but I've just remembered.

Any reason why rooting back to stock from this would cause problems?

I was going to flash a stock ROM, bloatware and all. Then try and keep the root with Voodoo when the OTA ICS rolls out. Although I hope it goes better than last time. Originally all I did was root it and freeze the bloatware via Titanium. Then Verizon released an update so I even took the extra step of defrosting my apps before I tried the install. Then I got the triangle error on the installation screen, so I tried disabling safestrap (which I had installed at the time) and temp unroot. It gave me the triangle again and I went for broke and installed this ROM and CWM since I figured it wouldn't get OTA updates anymore anyway.

fastboot using RSD lite or the Droid Razr Utility to restore your phone back to stock 2.3.6 (.181) and your phone will be ready to receive an OTA upgrade.

*edit* which will be ICS whenever that may be.
