K. so ive got the new build posted, ran it all day without a problem (installed on OG Razr running safestrap 1.09, system version 6.12.181)

Change Log:
5-7-2012
  • updated framework; source Aokp M5
  • Integrated Gapps-ics-20120429-signed
  • Fully Themed Monochrome ICS
  • added: Google Maps
  • added: AdFree Android
  • added: ES file Explorer (removed Astro)
  • updated all apps
!!!!!!!!!!!! READ THE OP !!!!!!!!!!!!
Rom preview:

For the people who cant seem to figure out how to get Data after rebooting your device, watch the video found in the OP... i included phone Info (app) in the ROM so you can easily open it, go into Phone Information, and set the toggle to GSM/CDMA auto (PRL). If it is already set to this, set it to GSM only, and wait for the screen to flicker "watch the Signal too, it will change from Roaming to Grey bars", that is when you will toggle it to GSM/CDMA auto PRL. If done correctly, you will have Data! If for the love of your life you cannot seem to do this simple task, simply reboot into recovery, and Wipe Cache partition, and Wipe Dalvik cache (in Advanced), reboot your system, and you will have 4g/3g data. There is no need to fastboot back to stock just because you cant toggle data on, it is a simple method and works damn near everytime! B) Happy flashing people!

this isnt the thread for discussing fastboot, but a perfect thread explaining it is found here on DR in the CDMA Development section. look for Droid Razr utility [windows]. i also have a video on youtube explaining how to use the utility, search for my username: untology

I can't understand why you got less battery life with this rom. I've tested both for longer periods and I can say black widow has the best lifetime for sure. Think about apps and widgets you are using, maybe one of them is responsible for draining the battery.

Try it. If something goes wrong, flash it again doing full wipe and format system. But no problem, just safe your apps with TiBu and restorer after flashing.

Edit: Andlaw, what about the displayed signal strength? It always shows the same. Is it possible to fix that?

dtrail: I think it has something to do with GSM-patching the ROM. If u look at the screens from andlaw it shows the correct strength...so we need to wait for a GSM-dev to fix it!

So we should have a look at the build.prop and maybe we are able to fix that by ourself. I will try that later at home.

And how often did you use your phone on the average? Seems to be a goot lifetime although it's overclocked..
