when i revert to stock tho, its fixed, data comes on and stays on just fine. i even flashed eclipse and that still worked also.Time to take it to Verizon then. Either that or call the CSR hotline and see if there is a data problem in your area.

Hey, do you think I could get the custom wallpaper without the logos that is up by the op in grey scale??
Here you go!

Do i Need to Wipe everything if i am just updating from the first release?
Yes this isnt an update build, this is built from Milestone 5., so yes i would suggest WIPE WIPE WIPE and then WIPE again, to ensure you get a clean flash with no problems. Follow the OP!

that stinks man, dont really know what to tell you, but the data is super strong and solid in this build, and every other build that i have released... they seem to be getting better/stronger by the build, not sure how/why you could be having data drops if you wiped everything called for in the OP (manually, not 1wipe2rulethemall) and live in a good 3g/4g area...

*edit, Ive also repaired the installer package for the BigBlackWidowICS keyboard... for some reason it wasnt mounting the new apk resulting in a black screen or brick. It is only for custom ICS roms, deodexed system!

So, is this included in the new rom? I installed the keyboard and didnt noticed a difference... i would love a DARK, Blackouted keyboard!

the keyboard will always be included with the ROM. I have made an individual zip for the KB in case others were wanting it on another ICS build.

for the easiest way to replace, and avoid having to boot into recovery, simply , locate the apk, copy/move Gmail.apk into your System/App folder, replace the old apk after enabling system to R/W. And make sure to set permissions after you replace the file, to ( rw-r--r-- ). Then reboot for the changes.
I have a quick video showing how to do this for a bootanimation, but the same procedure still applies ( use for reference if you dont know how... )

Loving this ROM, andlaw. I'm getting really great 3g service in an area where I used to get 1x. I really appreciate the hard work that you do here. I haven't ran into any problems yet with the new build except the soft keys aren't illuminating for me anymore. Good thing I know what key is what without having to see them. Thanks again for all your work man.
I have run into that problem in the past, like 1/7 flashes (where the hard keys dont light up).... there is an easy fix for this if you dont feel like reflashing the ROM. Open up PLAY, and download this app: AdjBrightness
open the app, hit menu key, open options... and Tick the option 'Lock on button light"

Ok, call me stupid. How do you enable system to R/W, or what is that, And how do you set permissions??

Hmmm... looks like I have to go to that app every time I turn the screen back on. I can do without the backlight for now. Hopefully I'll be one of the 6/7 with the next update. Regardless, I'm still loving this ROM.
EDIT
Ok... Found a different app called keyboard backlight and it works.
