Ok so Im running the latest update and with it V6 superchargered and im having a problem with the Rom Control feature... under start-up tweaks I have it enabled but it never saves any of my settings such as zipalign and sd boost. not sure if sd boost is going to make a difference but I thought I would try it out.

yeah there are a few options within the ROM control that are still a work in-progress. If you start to install new apps, just go back in there and enable zipalign for next boot. It should get taken care of sooner or later..

If you're using the ROM Toolbox SD Boost already, I'm pretty sure this does the same thing, so if you have both of those set to "set on boot" they may be conflicting. Or the build-in SD Boost could be completely different, in which case, just ignore me.

EDIT: SICK new boot logo/animation. Can't wait to flash those.

Also, someone asked about not wiping data...I was on B.33 and upgraded B.34 without wiping /data/. I just wiped the caches and formatted /system/, thus far I have not experienced any issues. You will, of course, have to reapply any tweaks that involved changes to /system/, such as reflashing the overclock.zip if you're using that.

EDIT2: bmb...how'd you go about getting the V6 OOM groupings to stick? Or are you just running a script on boot to get around that?

New to the razr as of yesterday. I am rooted on stock 6.12.181. Can I flash this or do I need to get back to 6.12.173 like the OP states?

you should be able to flash it from .181, just follow everything else in the install directions and you should be all set.

Yes the rom runs fine on.181 only thing that changed from .173 was the cdma radio

Did you install USB driver from Motorola?
How much battery did you have when you started you may have a dead battery and need to charge

Sorry for such a general question and don't mean to cludder up the thread but I am new to the razr and just want to do all of my research.

Is is best to flash and backup all custom roms and zip files in safe mode in safestrap? I already have a backup of stock rooted saved in unsafe mode in safestrap

To the devs: There is a leaked ics for gsm on xda (Not public). pm to the User spryte to get the Files and Kernel to get hw and Video cam working. Just an idea.
