guys, anyone tried ur earphones with this ROM?

Wnated to hear some music today, so i plugged in my earphones and it was not detected at all! i tried another pair, and its the same. It does not detect the earphones at all..

any idea?

Headphones worked ok. DPS Manager did nothing and Music FX would only last for 1 song. I don't think this ROM likes me :o

I just turned on music and plugged in my headset and it worked.. not sure why you would be running in to so many problems....... compared to myself and others. lol

I re-installed this rom and found that everything works GREAT except for now my music won't play at all. It keeps telling me that the MP3s that I was using before are not supported on my phone. I am confused.

I had the same scare. I couldn't get any headphones working, and just could not get it working for the life of me, RSDed, Flashed GB, ICS, etc. Pissed the heck out of me. I had the phone for 3 weeks, didn't want to send it out... What I found out was that a piece of lint got into the headphone jack, and was screwing with the connection. So try this: Use an INSULATED paper clip, and try to fish around in the headphone jack and see if some lint got stuck there. It's a more common issue than you'd think.

Good Luck though! :D

Haha, thanks for the tip. I just tried blowing over the hole and next thing you know, the headphones are working :D

Does anyone know of any themes available that arre compatible with this rom?? I haven't seen any listed specifically for this rom.

P.S. I got the music to work. I had to delete all my music and re-download the songs through the MP3 downloader. At least they are back up and running. I am having the data drop issue quite a bit. Any known fix for this?

If your having data problems it must be your location.. other than that you can always boot into recovery and wipe cache/dalvik and that should get you data back.. but if your losing 4g and bouncing back and forth between 3g.. its your location. My data has been super solid since install, but i live in a Strong 4G area......

Just tried flashing this rom. When I try re-boot, I get the "M" logo with the "dual core technology" like I should, it flashes on and off back to that, then back into recovery. Every time, back to recovery. Thoughts? This looks like a gorgeous rom and I'd love to have a go at it.

I was on Eclipse before, if that's whatsoever relevant.

Using bootstrap? If yes, same thing happened to me. Safestrap apparently works tho.

I am, yeah. I'll give it a go from Safestrap and see if it gets me anywhere.

the newest build from Aokp is only working on safestrap right now, bootstrap users can flash my previous build (found in OP). Safestrap ftw!! lol

Honestly I haven't been all that pleased with bootstrap anyway. Flashing to Eclipse cause some serious problems, and ended up softbricking my phone. And I switch ROMs like a crazy person, so I'm not used to issues like that.

hmm, well if you use safestrap that will minimize the chances of you bricking your phone, since you will always be able to get into Recovery on boot. (definitely great for crackflashers! and people who just like to flash $#!+), save yourself the time and stress, use Safestrap! then you can keep eclipse on non-safe and flash ICS on safe..... only way to go imo

Alright guys here is a BOOT LOGO that will replace the M-dual core print. You will need a computer for this task!!

this is what you will now see on boot.
