It doesn't look like a multiple emulator issue by the failure though. Most of the time you will see the multiple emulator issue before it says device found. Sounds like you need to delete everything out of your /data/local/tmp folder and try again. Might have rooted before and the clean up process did not remove the exploit app. Worst case scenario is you need to do a factory data reset.

Fantastic I'd hoped that a ROOT method would be found and created for 4.1.2. I love my RAZR M ... and the only ROOT previously available required doing a factory reset. Thanks Dan!

Does anyone know whether this exploit will work with the Razr M's sibling, the US Cellular Electrify M?

My device is rooted, I can go into terminal emulator, and use "su" and get a prompt "root@vanquish:/ #" so I have root, but I'm unable to update the SU binaries from the superuser app. Any ideas?

I remember someone solved this by downloading a different SU app from the Play Store. Then trying again to update in the first app and letting the 2nd app give the 1st app SU permission. It would then update the Binary. Then you can uninstall which ever one you don't want. Hope that make sense. Lol...

Any suggestions for a different SU app? I can't get the prompt to even ask for SU permissions for the apps. I have apps in my Superuser list with the ChainsDD superuser app.
Also btw, if I ADB Shell, I can su as well, but I can't just update the binaries to the latest.

Yeah... I tried SuperSU.
I get "The SU binary needs to be updated. Continue?"
Which leaves me where I started. Unable to update the binary.

Hmm... download
and see if it says you have root.

Yeah. This is saying, "No"
But Titanium Backup says, "yes" it's rooted. So, do I un-root and then try this motochopper again?
BTW - thanks for the help.

Yeah try that. For some reason you are not fully rooted.
