I believe permição means permission in portuguese. Maybe someone can help?

since you've obviously not taken the july ota update at this point, I highly suggest that you consider unlocking your bootloader while you still can.- but the choice is yours. Once you update that for will close for you.Worked like a charm and as advertised. Great work on this root method :D

I just got my Maxx HD as a replacement for my RAZR Maxx 2 days ago (8/25/13) and so far I'm loving this phone but I'm going to assume I won't be able to unlock the bootloader cause again I'm assuming it came to me with the latest update

If this root method worked you are NOT on the new update. The original motochopper here will not work on the updated devices at all. What is your system version in the about phone?

You will not be able to unlock, that's correct.

The orig. Motochopper should not have worked though. Weird.

We saw the same thing happen a couple days ago. That's why we were helping him for so long because I thought the original Motochopper in the Utility would not work if upgraded but it does.

It can't. Not on the latest kernel. The hole it exploits has been patched. So there's some funky chicken going on there.

Call me a liar whatever floats your boat I tried the "Batakang" utility and it failed. Tried this utility on a whim and it worked for me. Mind you this is my first Maxx HD after being on the Maxx for just over a year and just got it a couple of days ago as a replacement for my Maxx.

Absolutely was NOT calling anyone a liar. Just trying to figure it out cause we know that the original motochopper can't work on that kernel. What is the exact filename of the exploit you used?

I wonder if Matt's utility kicked the boot.img back and he's running on that?

I don't have my HD anymore so I can't compare the screenshot against the different kernel versions from MR2, MR4, 79, etc. You could though.
