You can try it. The worst that would happen is it wouldn't work. It is not something that would harm your device if it fails.

It's actually my 1st time owning an Android phone, and I still am very much ignorant about rooting.

noob here. Trying to root my recently aquire razr m. Followed all the direction to the t for motochopper with the latest drivers. It states install is successful, but when I run RootChecker, that tells me no. Then ran the sdk setup with the same issues.
Do I need to unroot via a flash, then run the setup again now that the sdk is installed on my computer. Can you direct me to a "dumb-down" solution to flash phone if that's what needed. THank you.

Yes thanks. Tried that thread two days ago, followed all steps but still nothing. Going to attempt again on another computer to see if it works. Will post results on here and other thread.

I've updated Motochopper for the M and HD. Use the version specific for the phone you have.

YES! Just want to state that went to link on post #492 for my Rarz M. Made first attempt on my desktop computer yesterday with no success. Tonight re-attempted on my laptop with success. THANK YOU! Now I can get rid of all those bloatwares. Again thank you, you're the man.
