Did not work on my Droid RAZR XT912... When it tried to push the root tools it said this

 5605 KB/s (1578585 bytes in 0.275s)

        pkg: /data/local/tmp/Superuser.apk
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_ALREADY_EXISTS]
[*] Rooting phone...
[+] This may take a few minutes.
[-] Failure.
[*] Cleaning up...
[*] Exploit complete. Press enter to reboot and exit.

Any help would be appreciated. The phone is in USB debugging mode and I installed the latest Motorola USB drivers via the Motorola website. I tried motochopper on a USB 1.1 port and a USB 2.0 port.

FIX: If you have the same phone as mine (will probably work on other phones as well), switch from Mass Storage Device mode to Media or Camera mode and then the root will work. Here's how to switch to these modes:

Nope it didn't.  Nor will it.  This isn't designed for that phone.

Do a search for RAZRBlade in order to root your XT912

Its not seeing your phone for one of a few reasons. Do you have up to date drivers, USB 2 not 3 port, mtp mode, USB debugging on, motocable?

Im unlocked and havent did the update yet not quite sure how to do it. Samuri kind of explained it just not sure where all the files are. Or can I just wait for someone to make a zip? Is there anything in the OTA that is really different other than patching all the exploits?

There are radio updates. They have helped some but others haven't noticed any change. You can use his rollback update script just skip the step that rolls your version back. If you are already rooted still skip the rooting step as well.

As I said, you're NOT unlocked.  We showed that to you on the AP Fastboot screen.  You may be rooted, but, your bootloader isn't unlocked.  And it makes a HUGE difference as to how you root the update.

Ah, my apologies.  You have no idea how many people I've helped in the last 2 weeks.  So yea, you don't need to worry about Motochopper or any other exploit.  Just flash the chainfire su zip in TWRP any time you decide to take a new OTA update.  Done.
