In your previous post you said you went to 4.1.1 to unlock. If you did then you are golden.

Wait for the rooted version to be available. Don't accept it.

If you're unlocked, rooted, and otherwise fully stock, you can just apply the update like any other.  Then once you're done, follow the link I posted above to restore root in custom recovery.  It's really that easy.

Darn..lost root after the Update ..yes I had the app, Rootkeeper.. but it did not work..Now is there anyway to reroot..? Used the Motochopper exploit and did not work..:(:(:(
Can't understand why Motorola's view on unlocking and rooting is " Not ,Can't and we will not allow you ” . Its like its still our phone and we are just allowing you , for a fee, to just use it.:angry::angry:

Reflash TWRP or cwm manually via fastboot. Boot directly into recovery and flash SuperSu zip. There's a thread that goes over the process loosely.

You will regain root. Recovery always runs with administrator permission.

Then your voodoo ota rootkeeper attempt was a definite fail, sorry to say.  The only way you're getting root back now is if you're unlocked.  If you're not unlocked you have lost root until a new exploit is found.
