Just purchased a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD XT926M.
Want to root it and add roms.
What I do not want to do is, screw it up.
So, can someone point me the right direction to do the above.
Any help appreciated.

Number 1..... This is an old thread and as stated right at the top, this does not work on the xt 926 anymore .... 2. Only of you are boot loader unlocked with custom recovery can you install custom ROMs ... 3. If you are locked, then there is a new root method search for "hydrogen peroxide" some have had luck with it, while others have not..... Good luck
