Nitro's ROM is on that forum. He's the dev, the ROM is called Eclipse and on that forums it's at release 5.1. He might have a different link on XDA with 5.5.

Goddamn it, now I see! I have been running Eclipse 4.1.2 for the past few months and didn't even know he was the Dev sorry for my ignorance.
Haha, no worries.

Alright so I flashed 5.1 build 6 because I could not find 5.5 and my signal works but is very low. In the classroom where I am right now I was getting full signal, now it is barely hanging onto 1 bar of 4g.
This is common for AOSP based roms. Usually it's just a signal bar issue. If you look at the actual signal numbers they should be normal

Sorry that was my bad it was 5.1. My old a $$ was getting tired lol. Anyway I told you about signal strength thats one of the draw backs of the port roms. If your in a strong area sometimes it doesnt matter. Your bars also are telling you what your 3g connection is not 4g. If you want to see 4g go into settings /more/ network of something and it will tell you what your 4g strength is.

That's what I expected. What dBm reading should I be getting in a full service area?
Not quite sure. I'm on wifi right now and on the 4G fringe at my house. Maybe someone else can chime in.

My phone's signal bars have a small 4g above them, shouldn't that mean that the signal displayed is the 4g?

It seems from my tests that there is only a slight signal difference between the 4.1.2 and 4.3 roms, and this is within margin of error so I don't really count it as a reliable result. The only interesting thing I noticed was that my SIM carrier changed when I flashed the 4.3 rom, and the cell i was connected to changed as well. Does anyone have anything they can tell me about this?
The only other thing I need to test is my signal strength on the latest Stock Rom available for my device from Verizon. Where can I download this?
