To those who unlocked their bootloaders and are now being greeted with an annoying "Bootloader Unlocked" warning. If you just want your good old Motorola boot screen back. I've written a short and sweet tool to do so.

Just make sure you've got your drivers installed, USB debugging is enabled and that you have UNZIPPED this package BEFORE you run it.

Download Link Below
Unzip
Plug in Phone
Hit "Run"
????
Profit

For those curious how this works. It reboots your phone into Fastboot mode and then flashes an img to your "logo" partition using the code

And then reboots your device. It's actually quite simple. But it was requested how it works :)

Honestly, sometimes its just easier to whip up a quick batch file then it is to try to explain to the "less experienced" people how to fix this.

and I hope you took my comment with all the respect with which is was intended. I was going to try myself from the first post, as I believe in learning as much as possible, by doing where possible. This hit at just the right time, so I went this route. BUT, I did open and read the files I could first, again, just to see what was going on.

A good day for all!

@tucstwo Might I suggest you put the info in the OP to also do it using fastboot for folks who don't want to use a 1-click. Just a thought as I know there are ppl like myself who steer clear of 1-clicks and really its not hard to type 1 line of command once you have the *.img needed

Just out of curiosity, could we delete the logofile and insert our own? If so, what dimensions, size, file type, etc..do we need?

Thanks in advance!

Yes I'm sure it is easier to whip up a utility than to explain to us noobs how to flash or fastboot things. And I'm sure im not speaking out of place but we (noobs) appreciate the utilities and basically everything you guys (devs) do for us.

I am trying to do this in linux(and maybe throw together a bash script for the linux users) but I keep having trouble. I grabbed hash's linux fastboot.bin off goo, and put that in your folder and made it executable(chmod a+x). I am using your bat for command reference. As far as I know the adb stuff should be the same on win and linux, so I first do:

Great, I am in the bootloader now! All I need to do is use fastboot to flash the moto logo bin, right? So I am doing:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

but it just says <waiting for device> even though my device says usb connected. I know adb can be picky sometimes with old sessions so I tried unplugging the phone and plugging it back in. Still waiting...so

Still not seeing my phone..so I reboot and checked usb debugging was on. it is. I checked if adb sees the device while in fuzion. It does.

I noticed the same basic problem, waiting for device, when I unlocked my bootloader. Everything went great. It pushes the files via the adb bridge. It executes it fine. Cleans it up fine, and then it boots in to the bootloader to execute:
read -n 1
and it fails waiting for the device.

Any ideas why my phone cant be seen by adb in fastboot? I am using the android-linux-tools package from the webupd8 ppa on a Kubuntu 12.10 x64 system with a brand new gigabyte mobo.
