Successfully Rooted and Unlocked my bootloader with these tools. Awesome! Thanks! I haven't been able to have a unlocked bootloader since my HTC Thunderbolt!

The unlock seems to have run fine and I get the unlock screen, but now my device won't turn off.  If I turn it off it just reboots.

Any advice?

Thanks for all the work put in.

Yeah, unplug it.  If it's plugged in when you power off, it will automatically power back on.

Just tried this on my Razr M. Confirmed, Bootloader unlocked!

Thanks

Now to figure out how to install ROMs. Never done this before.

Make sure you read and learn, before you start flashing. Make sure you know what fastboot is and make sure you know how to recover your phone if something happens. If you have questions after researching, don't be scared to ask.

Hello there everyone. I have a droid RAZR m running 4.1.2. Specifically my system version is 98.15.66.xt907.Verizon.en.us. my device is rooted. Recently I took the most recent ota update, which broke root. So I used the RAZR m utility to flash back and re root. When I try using the bootloader unlock script, it says success, but then when it stats my boot loader it still says its locked, and after I restart to my boot loader, it is still indeed locked. I have also tried motopocalypse and have achieved the same dismal results. By the way I am 100% sure I'm rooted with a working installation of su. Any thoughts or input, please? I desperately want to unlock my phone.

Ya, I never unlocked fearing I might need warranty. Well warranty going to expire soon and never needed it. Now its too late to unlock and sounds impossible to ever unlock with qfuse already tripped by update. You snooze, you lose. I slept, and wept.

Yeah I'm in the same exact boat. Anyone got any news or workarounds for anything recent?

As of now, the update is not unlockable.  You can root, but no BL unlock yet.  I think we'll be lucky if we even see one.

You already installed the update. You cannot unlock even if you fastboot back. Sorry.  :(
